Kofi will probably win. I hope they use this King of the Ring to give somebody a push.

  • Joe

So if someone other than William regal wins does that mean he has to take the kor banner out of his entrance video and the lil screen right next to the curtain at the top of the ramp?

  • erik

So you people would rather spend 50 bucks on top of what your paying for your cable bill to see a gimmick event with no commercials when you can save your 50 bucks and just put up with commercials? I like King of the Ring don’t get me wrong but who cares about the commercials just be happy they are bringing it back.

Watch who you’re calling an idiot. The point CC was trying to make is that the way the ppv’s have been put together lately they are really as boring as the weekly shows. It doesn’t matter if it’s a ppv or a weekly show King of the Ring is not a huge draw like Hell in a Cell or Elimination Chamber, it would be ludicrous for WWE to put a Hell in a Cell on Smackdown or Raw let alone a series of them like they do at the ppv. Look at past buy rates for KOTR when it was an annual ppv it still drew below the Big 3 PPV’s. WWE can afford to put their 4th or 5th most popular concept on one night of Raw.

  • CC

    Err, whats the difference really?
A PPV is 3 hours and works exactly the same with the elimination format.

there is very little difference between PPVs and weekly shows these days anyway.

  • Catemine

amen to that! PPV! but i’m deffinitely happy to see its return. i bet that was one of their findings from those focus groups

  • idontknow2

NO! They have to do the king of the Ring ppv! Not the lame 3 hours special!…i’ll watch it anyway.
