WWE confirms cancellation of Talking Smack, fans start a petition to bring it back

It was rumoured for a while that WWE may cancel Talking Smack due to the repetitive low number of audience it has been generating ever since the debut of 205 Live.

Now the company has confirmed that they are pulling the popular talk show from their weekly Network schedule, though it will continue to be the follow-up show for PPVs, along with its counterpart Raw Talk:

“We continuously review WWE Network’s programming line-up based on a variety of factors, including viewership and subscriber research. Talking Smack and Raw Talk will air following pay-per-view events, and Tuesday will continue to feature 205 LIVE.”

Both the SmackDown Live Manager Daniel Bryan and the host of Talking Smack Renee Young seemed angry with this decision and they showed their displeasure by twitting about it:

Taking things even further, a fan has started a petition to bring back Talking Smack on Change.org, and in just a few hours it has already been signed by 4300 fans.
