We noted how John Cena indicated on Twitter that he will be returning to WWE during the July 4rth episode of SmackDown Live. Now WWE has also confirmed the return of the Cenation leader for the show.
WWE confirmed the return of Cena by releasing a promo of his return. The promo which WWE shared from the official WWE Twitter account can be seen below:

It’s been said that Cena will stick around for at least sometimes upon his return, and currently, there are lots of rumours about who would be his next opponent when he is back on WWE TV.
Some rumours suggest that he’ll be feuding with Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship and may end up winning the title. Though nothing is set in stone and things could obviously change before the former World Champion returns to WWE.
Another possible opponent for Cena would be Baron Corbin who is said to be the early favourite to win the Money In The Bank match, but since the current champion Jinder Mahal is also a heel, he’s not expected to cash in anytime soon.
Though what WWE really has in store for Cena will be revealed once he is back on WWE TV next month.
