The Miz is easily one of the most popular heels in WWE right now. He has always been able to get a lot of heat due to his terrific mic skills and heel moveset. But through his reality TV show Miz & Mrs, that might have changed.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez would talk about The Miz, where he read a note sent to him by a listener which informed him that The Miz worked in a dark match against WWE Champion The New Daniel Bryan, following Smackdown Live.
Bryan would note how The Miz worked as a babyface, which wasn’t really a surprise to him. This is because he noticed how The Miz’s reality television show has made him sympathetic.
It is only a matter of time until The Miz becomes a proper babyface. From his recent storyline with Shane McMahon, it might happen sooner rather than later.
We will have to see whether this change in The Miz will work out for the best, or if it will be a failure like his initial face turn a few years ago.
