– WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper stars in a new movie called Fancypants, which premieres today at the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida. Piper and actor Robert Carradine star as comedic play-by-play wrestling commentators.
– Former WCW star Scotty Riggs has been hospitalized for what’s believed to be bleeding ulcers. He underwent surgery yesterday to locate the source of the bleeding.
– Ivan sent word that Sheamus will be appearing on The Late Late Show in Ireland tonight.
– Former WWE Diva Jillian Hall will be returning to the ring for the Women Superstars Uncensored promotion soon. She will be at their June 25th internet pay-per-view with a “major announcement.”
Regarding her return to the ring, Jillian wrote: “Apparently, I need to get myself back into ring shape for a couple of shows coming up…”
