WWE Event In Honolulu Will Not Be A Network Special, Brock Lesnar Appearing?

WWE will be holding a live event in Honolulu, Hawaii and it’s sold out. John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura is expected to headline the show. There were rumors that Brock Lesnar would wrestle Kevin Owens at the show, but that’s not the case.

It was noted in this week’s edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lesnar was not even asked to wrestle at the event. It was also noted that the event will not be a WWE Network special.

Charlotte and Asuka will be on the show. While it was originally rumored that a match between the two stars would take place at the event, Natalya, who Charlotte is currently feuding with, is also booked for this event, so it’s possible that WWE makes the match a three-way between the three stars.

WWE is advertising the following stars for the show:

Roman Reigns, John Cena, AJ Styles, Chris Jericho, Bray Wyatt, Kevin Owens, The New Day, The Usos, Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka, Charlotte, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Natalya and Ric Flair.
