Home » WWE News » WWE Hall of Famer Reportedly Refuses to Sign Birthday Card for Kid Fighting Brain Cancer

- There is once again a negative Scott Hall story coming out after he made another wrestling convention appearance in Tucson, Arizona last weekend.

You may remember the video we posted of wrestling stars Bill Goldberg, Ric Flair, Edge, Bret Hart, Angelina Love, Candice Michelle, Christy Hemme, Lita, Sean Waltman, Maria Kanellis, Lisa Marie Varon, Taryn Terrell, Brooke Tessmacher and Zeus sending well wishes and signing a birthday card for 6 year old Danny Nickerson, who is battling brain cancer and may not have that much time left to live.

Hall reportedly refused to sign the card.

The reaction from a number of people in the know this past week was not just how incomprehensible this was, but it’s even worse in Hall’s case because of how he rallied fans to pay for a number of his surgeries through an online fundraiser.

The issues between Hall and Goldberg have been well documented over the years but it was reported that the two actually made peace at this same convention. Given how Goldberg feels about helping children and how he got choked up in the video for Danny Nickerson, you have to wonder if he made up with Hall before or after he got word of Hall refusing to sign the card.

Asking if this thread is ADHD, when clearly the article is not, is also off topic! Please, stick to topic, its something we all have to learn.

Thing is guys like hall being given chance after chance, it enables and says its ok to not bother as someone will get you back on track. Usually this is what leads to accidental deaths, as sufferers don’t know how to handle their demons independently.

  • The Killswitch

    I’m seeing some irony here.

  • Matthew Farrell

You believe in god and call others ‘bro’. I’m sorry, where was god during the holocaust? Or Sandy Hook? Or the many other atrocities that have been committed over the centuries, often in god’s name? The bible is full of inaccuracies and contradictions. “God is all-loving, but gay people are evil and must suffer for eternity.” Hard to believe in a god like that.

    Back to the article please.

Back to the article please. The militant mod nazis patrol here, so please respect the rules and stay on article topic.

Prayer without faith is dead. Read the bible and you would know that. I’m not bashing your beliefs so at least show the common courtesy not to do so to mine.

  • Enigmatic7

I can’t fix people like you, but God can. Don’t worry, next time you are in a crisis or near-death experience I wonder whose name you will call first, God or Science. I guarantee It will be God, You don’t have to believe me ,but everyone has a Moment of Clarity sooner or later. I just hope you have yours soon bro.

  • The Killswitch

Don’t continue to discuss something I asked you not to discus, then.

  • Christopher Barnouski

Is this the adhd thread? Stay on topic. Hopefully there’s a misunderstanding as to why hall didn’t sign.

  • TheFizPop

So some struggle and runt deleted my reply to Keith?? haha wow, didn’t even use profanity or poor grammar!! Laughable that my reply put entirely into context what i was saying, thus nullifying any and all debate, that was misconstrued. lol i shall with hold from ad hominem reply. keep up the good work sir!!

  • The Killswitch

    Back to the article please.

“You can’t prove he doesn’t exist, so he must exist” Same old argument. Yeah, let’s pray to a god whom there is NO proof for his existence, because ‘god’ loves everyone, except those who aren’t white Christian republican males. :-P

  • Matthew Farrell

    I prayed but I don’t see god :-P

  • TheFizPop

Debate? I stated facts lad, facts! The words belief and believe consist of the word LIE, which they do. And i stated its subjective, which it is, therefore where is this supposed debate you say? I have said 3 things which are true to the topic of religion. Also its axiomatic that without my comments, this article would be dead.

Just for the record, i am not atheist, that in itself is just as nonsensical, to disbelief one thing, to just just believe something opposite?! lol get outta here! I just don’t care, we live, we die, we fall, we fly. Just make the most of the time!

  • Keith Learmonth

Is your ego truly so large that you think it matters even a tiny bit whether you comment on a single thing online?
People like you give the rest of us Atheists a bad name… There was no bloody reason to turn this into a religious debate..

  • TheFizPop

Just be grateful this article got some commenting love, courtesy of me. The comment above my opener, is just flippant.

  • TheFizPop

haha you mean ‘prey’ as in victims of the preachers? and in some religions, the priests and choirboys ‘closeness’

  • The Killswitch

Before this turns into an argument, please redirect your discussions relevant to wrestling and/or this article. Thanks.

    Pray

  • TheFizPop

Oh no, forgive me, you’re right there is a god! Tell me again how to find him?

  • Solid Snake

Your comment has nothing to do with the article. He doesn’t want to sign a card so theres no God? you sir are an idiot.

  • TheFizPop

It’s all subjective really, as after all, theres a lie in every beLIEf :) (really, really resisted saying BOlief btw)

  • Enigmatic7

Bro, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a God, God does things for reasons we don’t understand. Just because we don’t understand them doesn’t mean that he doesn’t exist.

  • TheFizPop

Just shows there is no god, good people don’t pull through and oxygen stealing losers do.

  • Matthew Farrell

    Wow, what a POS.
