WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T has announced his intentions to run for Mayor in his hometown of Houston, Texas in the year of 2020. Booker made the announcement on his “Heated Conversations” radio show on Houston’s Sports Radio 610 this past Saturday night (December 10, 2016):
“You heard it, 2020 I’m preparing,” Booker said. “I’m preparing myself to run for mayor of the city.”
WWE Superstar Rhyno was also on the show, who recently ran for a seat in the Michigan House of Representatives, had this to say regarding Booker’s announcement:
“You are over qualified for the job. Wrestling not only prepares you for life but it prepares you for positions like that because you feel the emotion from the people you know what they want, you’ve built yourself from where you were to where you’re at now.”
