WWE has offered contracts to multiple indie wrestlers

With the upcoming UK tournament, and with Triple H’s plan of expanding the NXT brand around the globe, it seems that the WWE has taken a big step forward, signing a huge amount of talent over the week.

According to Dave Meltzer, while finding talent to take part in the United Kingdom Championship Tournament, the WWE has signed “Iron Man” Joe Coffey, Travis Banks, El Ligero, and Dave Mastiff among others. They also signed Toni Storm, a woman who made a huge impact during last year’s Mae Young Classic.

It’s assumed that the WWE is working on building their UK Division now to compete with ITV’s World of Sport. WOS already has top talents like Grado, Moose, Joe Hendry, and Will Ospreay, just to name a few. The former Bad News Barrett, Stu Bennett, has also been signed as an announcer for the promotion.

With WOS Wrestling about to launch, it looks like the WWE has finally gotten the kick in the teeth necessary to possibly launch the UK Division’s brand.
