– The August 13th episode of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown scored a 1.6 broadcast rating with 2.691 million viewers. This is the third straight week SmackDown has done a 1.6.
– Teddy Hart is trying to get back in with Mexico’s AAA promotion. It’s safe to say that his attempts at getting a deal with WWE have fallen through.
– WWE is very interested in recruiting athletes from China and bringing them to the US to work. WWE wants a top Chinese star, similar to what Yao Ming has been to the NBA. Based on the reactions from their recent tour, the feeling is that WWE can be a big success in the country, even without a native star.
