This is from another site that covers all things wrestling and not just the Big E and Total Nonsense Activity. Here is what they said about this in their news and rumors section:

In an angle, Vince McMahon has suspended CM Punk following his actions on last night’s WWE RAW. Punk will be taking time off, but is not expected to be leaving the WWE.

So it all sounds like a great big work from the ending contract up to the promo on Raw. Even if it is, I still like the way it “broke the fourth wall.”

@Shawn – Best promo of the year? Pffffft… Best promo in well over a decade.

  • venom

That was definately the best last 10 minutes for Raw. That was a shocking as The Rock being announced for guest host for Wrestlemania.

And Punk was high-fiving each and every one of them. He delivered that promo with excellence! Definitely the best of the year and the best I’ve heard in some time. If Punk does, in fact, actually leave, it’ll be a damn shame. What’s truly a damn shame is how he has been misused during his time in WWE.
