Welcome to the WWE Raw pre-show and we are live on the WWE Network. Scott Stanford, Corey Graves and David Otunga hype what we will see tonight, which is a WWE Tag Team Title Open Challenge with The New Day. A recap video package of Sheamus winning the WWE Title as well as The Wyatt Family being beat by The Undertaker and Kane at Survivor Series.
Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw, there is a recap video of last night’s Survivor Series PPV. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon walks down to the ring to begin the show. They talked about how Roman Reigns turned down a opportunity that was given to him twice by them. Triple H said that he was the first one to congratulate Reigns and offered his hand in an opportunity, but what did Reigns do? He cheap-shotted them. Triple H said that is the reason that Reigns is no longer WWE Champion. This led to Triple H introducing Sheamus as the new WWE Champion. Sheamus was so happy and thanked them for the great introduction. He said that there is nothing that the fans can say to ruin his moment. Sheamus said that Reigns could not stay on the top of the mountain because he kicked him off. Triple H said that Sheamus doesn’t look stupid, but WWE Champion. This led to Roman Reigns walking down to the ring. Reigns said that he wants his rematch tonight. Stephanie said that Reigns doesn’t have the right to demand a title shot and to get out of ring. Reigns asked if Triple H was scared of him because he is standing behind his wife.
Triple H stepped up and so did Reigns. Triple H said that he might have gotten speared, but Reigns is not champion because of it. Triple H said that Reigns would get his rematch when he says he will and it sure will not be tonight. This led to Rusev showing up and kicking Reigns in the face. Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick to Reigns. Rusev and Sheamus high five each other. Triple H said that pride is a bitch and that Reigns will get his rematch at the TLC PPV in a TLC match. Stephanie McMahon booked Rusev vs. Reigns for tonight.

Tag Team Match: The Dudley Boyz vs. The Wyatt Family
Luke Harper worked over Bubba with some clotheslines early. Bubba connected with a big boot then tagged in Devon. They hit a double team flapjack followed by a reverse 3-D. Bray Wyatt pulled Harper out of the ring…
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Devon getting the hot tag to Bubba. He cleaned house on Harper and hit a back drop. Bubba with a series of jabs then a Rock Bottom. Bubba knocked Erick Rowan and Harper hit the big clothesline for the win.
Winners: Wyatt Family.
Post-match, Rowan hit his finisher on Devon. Braun Strowman locked in his submission on Bubba. The family stood over the tag team…

Singles Match: Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch.
Banks beat her down early in the match. She landed a knee strike to the face of Lynch. Banks worked over the back of Lynch then locked in a submission. Lynch fought out of it and rolled her up for 2. Lynch landed a series of forearm shots then some clotheslines and a heel kick. Lynch went hit a fisherman’s suplex. Banks kicked her in the face. Lynch went for the disarmer, but Tamina Snuka distracted the referee and Naomi pulled Banks’ leg under the rope. Banks rolled up Lynch for the win.
Winner: Banks.
Paige appeared on the titantron and said that she is the real contender for the Divas Championship. Paige said that Charlotte cheated in their match at Survivor Series. Paige pointed out that Charlotte’s arm was under the bottom rope. Paige said that Charlotte is a dirty player.
-Commercial Break-
The New Day come down to the ring with stick horses and Big E wearing a cowboy hat. New Day says they are officially one-year-old (one year that they’ve been a group) today. They are disgusted that they have to be in the capital of country music. Kingston said that country music sucks. Xavier Woods sang about booty. Yes, booty. Lucha Dragons walked down to the ring and said that all that New Day does is run. They said that they accept their challenge. This led to The Usos walking down to the ring. New Day said that The Usos do not deserve a title shot. Cara said that they should make this a triple threat. Big E said that they have ruined their moment. New Day said that no one will be getting an opportunity because it has been cancelled. A brawl broke out. The New Day was sent to the floor. The babyfaces stand tall in the ring.

Charlotte cut a backstage promo about how Paige is dead wrong for accusing her of being a cheater.
Singles Match: Neville vs. Mark Henry
Henry tossed Neville around early. Neville caught Henry with a kick and then hit the Red Arrow for the win.
Winner: Henry.
Post-match, Henry shook the hand of Neville and told him that he respects him.
Titus O’Neil and Stardust are shown talking backstage. Titus scared him and walked away.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Prime Time Players and Goldust vs. stardust and The Ascension
Goldust and Viktor started things off. Goldust landed a series of strikes then an arm drag. Darren Young was tagged in and landed a power slam followed by a leg drop. Titus landed a big chop to the chest of Viktor. Stardust was tagged in and ran into a belly to belly. Young with a big forearm shot but Viktor tagged himself in and hit a big boot to Young. Konnor was tagged in and landed an elbow drop. Stardust was tagged in but ate a big boot by Young. Titus and Konnor got the hot tags. Titus cleaned house with a series of clotheslines. Titus hit a big boot, Goldust sent Stardust to the floor. Titus hit a sit-down powerbomb for the win.
Winners: Prime Time Players and Goldust

Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter walk down to the ring. They talk about MexAmerica and that the boundaries of their new country are now closed. This led to Jack Swagger out to the stage. Swagger said that he cannot believe what he is hearing right now. Swagger said that Colter is a bitter out of touch old man. Del Rio told him to shut up. Swagger walked down to the ring and Del Rio along with Colter backed down and walked to the back.

WWE Divas Title Match: Charlotte © vs. Paige.
The two slap each other to begin the match. Charlotte worked over the left arm of Paige. Charlotte landed a series of knee strikes then a knee drop. Paige fought back with a series of kicks. Paige locked in a leg/head choke. Paige suplexed Charlotte right into the ropes. She worked over the left leg of Charlotte. Paige with a slap/kick combo for 2.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Charlotte landing a series of chops. She locked in a rear-naked choke, but Paige rolled into the ropes. Charlotte speared Paige out of the ring. The two were counted out.
Match ends in a double count-out.
Paige rips apart the announce table. Paige locked in the PTO on the table.

Heath Slater is in the ring with a guitar and said that he thought he would bring real entertainment to Nashville. Before he could sing, Ryback walked down to the ring. Slater hit Ryback with the guitar, but Ryback no sold it. Ryback hit him with a spine buster then the Meat Hook, and the Shell Shock.

Tag Team Match: Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens and Tyler Breeze
Ambrose and Breeze started things off. Ambrose hit a power slam then tagged in Ziggler who hit a series of splashes. Ziggler ran into a spinning kick by Breeze. Owens landed a series of rights but ran into a kick that set up Ambrose getting the hot tag. Breeze was tagged in, Ambrose tossed him to the floor and hit a dive taking him out. Back in the ring, Ambrose hit a neck breaker. He went to the top rope and hit a dropkick. Ambrose then connected with a big clothesline. Ziggler took out Owens with a superkick. However, Owens and Ziggler brawled on the floor. Owens sent him into the barricade. Back in the ring, Ambrose hit the Dirty Deeds on Breeze for the win as Owens watched from ringside.
Winners: Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler

Main Event: Rusev vs. Roman Reigns
They lock up, Reigns connected with a clothesline. They brawl outside of the ring to send us to break.

We’re back from break with Rusev tossing Reigns to the floor. While the referee was distracted, Sheamus attacked Reigns from behind. Sheamus tried to attack him again, but the referee saw it and sent Sheamus to the back. Back in the ring, Reigns hit a series of clotheslines. Rusev caught him with a kick for 2. Rusev hit a flying headbutt off the top rope. Rusev sent Reigns to the floor and hit him with a superkick. Rusev sent him in the barricade. Back in the ring, Reigns knocked Rusev out of the ring with a shoulder block. Reigns hit a drop kick to Rusev. King Barrett hit Reigns with a Bull Hammer out of nowhere.
Winner: Reigns via DQ.
Post-match, Reigns hit Barrett with a chair. He cleared the ring of Barrett and Sheamus to stand tall in the ring to close the show.
