Here are the results from tonight’s (Monday December 19, 2016) episode of WWE Monday Night RAW (courtesy of PWInsider):
We are in Columbus, Ohio and your announcers are Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Byron Saxton.
Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho are in the ring.
Kevin tells Chris he has to admit that when you showed up in the ring, he had no idea what Chris was going to do. Chris’ plan was perfect and he even had him fooled. Kevin says he never doubted Chris and that Codebreaker did not hurt as much as the idea that Chris was not his friend. The Universal Title is where it belongs.
Chris says that Codebreaker hurt him more than it hurt Kevin. He had to make everyone believe. Chris wants Kevin to believe now that their friendship is intact, he is going to give Kevin The Hug of Jericho.
Now that Team Kevin and Chris are back together, they are going to hand out payback and retribution like Santa gives out coal.
Kevin asks if he means Michael Cole and that would be terrible.
Chris asks Kevin what else does Santa do besides hand out gifts and make lists? Kevin says he looks stupid. Chris calls Santa a stupid idiot and he tells Santa if you are going to steal his ideas . . . YOU GO ON THE LIST
Mick Foley’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he tells Chris you don’t talk that way about Santa. Mick says that Chris has been really naughty. He wants to follow up on payback and retribution and Mick wonders why they did not show what happened after the match.
We see photos while Kevin says it was irrelevant.
Kevin says that power bomb could have ended his career.
Mick says that is what payback is about.
Kevin points out he is a national treasure.
Chris comments on Mick’s outfit and Mick says he will show you what the worst thing you have ever seen is and Mick takes off his jacket.
Mick says the only reason Seth and Roman are not here in the ring, they will be getting some revenge in a tag match later tonight in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (and then he is corrected about Raw being in Columbus).
Chris says Pittsburgh is better than Columbus.
Kevin says no matter what happened last night, they made sure that Kevin would win. They will figure something out tonight.
Mick says Jericho always finds a way to interfere. That stops at the Royal Rumble. That is where the retribution begins. Mick says Santa has brought a present from the North Pole. We see the ‘shark cage’ lowered to the ring.
Kevin says you cannot do that to Chris.
Mick says Roman Reigns will face Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble and Chris Jericho will be suspended above the ring in the cage and you will never interfere agayne.
Chris and Kevin comment on Mick criticizing the way that Chris says Agayne.
Chris and Kevin say that Mick cannot make him go in there.
Mick says that if Chris does not go into the cage, he will never set foot in a WWE ring agayne.
Chris says he is afraid of heights. Kevin says it is not safe. Chris talks about the material and Kevin says it is terrible because it is made in Ohio. Chris says the same thing.
Mick tells Chris to check out the floor of the cage and Mick closes the cage and then Mick cannot find the key.
Mick says he forgot the key. He says that Chris is safe because the cage does not go up until he gives ‘this signal’ at the Royal Rumble. The cell rises above the ring and Chris wants the door opened.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a look at what happened with Chris Jericho in the cage.
We see Chris getting oxygen and Kevin stops by while Chris breathes heavily. Kevin tells Chris to get his head in the game. Chris says it was high and Kevin wants the oxygen back.
Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady make their way to the ring and they do their usual introduction.
Colin tells Rusev last night he took the coward’s way out. You may have notched a victory but it does not change the fact that there is one word to describe you . . .
Rusev’s music interrupts the spelling bee.
Match Number One: Colin Cassady (with Enzo Amore) versus Rusev (with Lana)
Colin punches Rusev after locking up. Colin with more punches and he chokes Rusev in the ropes. Colin with more punches and Rusev tries to get out of the ring but Colin keeps Rusev in and punches and kicks Rusev. Colin does not stop with the punches and the referee disqualifies Rusev.
Winner: Rusev (by disqualification)
After the match, Colin continues with the punches despite the referee’s admonishing.
Colin finally stops with the assault and Rusev leaves through the crowd.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sasha Banks makes her way to the ring and she has a knee brace on her injured leg and she has a crutch to help her get to the ring.
We see photos from the Iron Man Match featuring Sasha Banks and Charlotte.
Sasha says last night she literally gave her blood, sweat, and tears. She says tapping twice nearly broke her leg and it broke her heart. She talks about the history that she has made with Charlotte. Last night, she walked out of Roadblock without her Women’s Championship. As much as it hurts her and it kills her to say, the better woman won. Sasha says she was taught to win or lose with respect and she wants Charlotte to come out so she can congratulate Charlotte.
Nia Jax’ music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Nia walks around Sasha and she says she doesn’t know if Charlotte is here, but she does not care. You can call yourself the boss and be the boss of the sheep in the crowd. You will never be the boss of her. You are weak and you are wounded. You are a little girl.
Nia kicks the crutch away and Sasha falls to the mat. Nia picks up Sasha and she biels Sasha towards the ropes and the injured leg hits the ropes. Nia stands over Sasha with the crutch and then she leaves the ring.
Cedric Alexander is walking in the back with Alicia Fox. We go to commercial.
We are back and Sheamus and Cesaro are with Mick Foley. Mick brings up their victory at Roadblock. Mick says he feels like a proud papa because he put them together. Sheamus says they doubted Mick but Mick says he doubted them. MIck says he knew they could change the face of the tag team division and they did. You have created magic in the ring. Mick says he has an early Christmas present. He has new Raw Tag Team Titles, which look like the same ones with red straps. Sheamus gives the old ones to Cesaro and he takes the new ones. Sheamus wants them in green.
A referee comes into the room to get Mick because there is an emergency.
We see Braun Strowman attacking random people asking for him.
Mick wants to know what is Braun doing. Braun says Sami survived ten minutes because he let him. He wants Sami now.
Mick says Sami is 100 miles away. He tells Braun to take the night off.
Braun says it will be ‘or else’
Austin Aries has joined Cole and Graves on commentary.
Match Number Two: Cedric Alexander (with Alicia Fox) versus Noam Dar
Dar has a kick blocked and Cedric with a back elbow and forearm. Dar with a side head lock. Alexander with a head scissors and drop kick that sends Dar to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Alexander with an arm drag and Dar kicks Alexander in the back of the leg. We see Dar hitting a drop kick during the commercial break. Dar goes up top and misses a double stomp to the leg and Alexander with forearms. Alexander hits the handspring round kick and then Alexander goes to the apron and hits a springboard clothesline. Alexander with the Lumbar Check for the three count.
Winner: Cedric Alexander
After the match, Noam Dar congratulates Cedric. He says he beat Cedric two weeks ago so they are even. He says they are not even because you’ve got what he wants. He says you still have Alicia Fox. He says Alicia is the real prize and all he wants for Christmas is her.
The New Day walk in the back and we go to commercial.
The New Day make their way to the ring and there is less of a bounce in their step than the previous 483 days.
Xavier says after 483 days, the historic, legendary tag team championship reign of the New Day has hit a roadblock.
Big E says the New Day cannot become your three time champions without losing a few times.
Xavier says they will once again become your WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Cesaro comes out and he is joined by his fellow tag team champion Sheamus.
Sheamus starts to talk and Cesaro stops Sheamus. He tells him not to do it.
Sheamus says he is full of positivity tonight because this really is a new day. It is Day 1 of the reign of the new WWE Tag Team Champion Sheamus.
Cesaro jumps in and they go back and forth saying their names as the crowd reaction changes.
Kofi says after just one day of being tag team champions, they gave you new title belts. Kofi says they had to walk around with those heavy copper belts? He says that someone would out New Day the New Day and they are happy it was you.
Sheamus thanks Kofi but Xavier tells Sheamus ‘shame’.
Xavier says when they were saying congratulations, they were talking about Cesaro. Big E says he has cat like reflexes.
Cesaro says it is good to be strong when you are teaming with this guy.
Sheamus wants to know what Cesaro is talking about.
Cesaro mentions Sheamus’ ego.
Sheamus says he does not care what anyone thinks about him. He says they are champions because of him so chew on that. He says the New Day’s reign of terror is over. The 483 days of disgracing the tag titles is over. Cesaro says they did not disgrace them. Sheamus says if they can be champions for 483 days, he can hold on to the titles for 20 years.
Xavier says for over 483 days there was music, singing, and dancing. There were more than 20 New Day shirts made.. There was cereal, there was the Old Day . . . maybe they should forget about that. They used the Power of Positivity.
Big E says you will never match their reign because . . .
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows interrupt.
Karl says he sees a bunch of . . . Luke says nerds . . . in the ring. It is sadder that the New Day think they are the greatest tag team champions or that Sheamus and Cesaro think they won the titles on their own.
Luke says if it wasn’t for them beating down the Nerd Day, Sheamus and Cesaro would not be the tag team champions.
Epico and Primo come out and they say this is the holiday season so they should not be fighting. Epico says they have the perfect holiday gift. Primo says everyone should have fun at the Shining Stars Resort.
Cesaro rips up the brochure and then Primo and Epico attack Cesaro and then we go to commercial (to get ready for the expected eight man tag match).
Match Number Three: Sheamus, Cesaro, Big E, and Kofi Kingston (with Xavier Woods) versus Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Epico, and Primo
The match is joined in progress and Primo with a side head lock on Kofi and Primo with a shoulder tackle. Kofi goes for the jumping back elbow but Primo holds on to the ropes. Epico makes the tag and Epico hits a butterfly face buster and Anderson tags in. Anderson sends Kofi back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Anderson punches Kofi and Karl hits a running boot to the head and he gets a near fall. Gallows tags in and he punches Kofi.
Gallows with a round kick and he gets a near fall. Anderson tags in and punches Kofi and then he goes for a reverse chin lock. Anderson with a leg lariat for a near fall. Gallows tags in and connects with punches and an uppercut. Gallows slams Kofi and misses with an elbow drop. Gallows with a kick and Irish whip but Kofi comes off the turnbuckles. Gallows with a choke slam as we go to commercial.
We are back and Anderson with a head lock on Kofi. Anderson with a waist lock and he tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi cannot make the tag. They go to the turnbuckles and Kofi hits a tornado DDT. Gallows tags in and he goes after Big E. Primo and Epico with suicide dives onto Cesaro and Sheamus. Gallows with a boot and then he gets Kofi up and Anderson hits a flying boot for a near fall. Anderson runs into a boot and then Gallows is sent to the floor. Big E makes the tag and he hits two overhead belly-to-belly suplexes followed by a belly-to-belly suplex. Big E goes for the Warrior Splash but Sheamus tags in. Epico is sent to the apron for the forearms across the chest.
Sheamsu with a Finlay Slam and then he sets for the Brogue Kick but Primo gets involved. Epico with a rollup and then Cesaro tags in and they hit a spike White Noise but Primo breaks up the cover. Anderson hits a running knee to Big E but Cesaro with a pop up European uppercut. Ceasro sets for the swing on Epico and he sends Epico spinning and then he applies the Sharpshooter and Epico taps out.
Winners: Sheamus, Cesaro, Kofi Kingston, and Big E
Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady are in the locker room and Enzo takes the blame for Colin’s recent problems. Colin tells Enzo to focus on how much fun they are going to have in Columbus.
Enzo is given a letter and he says maybe it is from Ed McMahon. Colin points out that he is dead. Enzo says maybe it is from Vince McMahon. Enzo says maybe they are getting a raise.
The letter says that he has to undergo sensitivity training because he exposed himself last month.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Neville makes his way to the ring. We see what happened after the Cruiserweight Title Match.
Neville says last night he single handedly destroyed the Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann and his little buddy TJ Perkins and you people cheered him? That’s rich. It has been a long time since you people cheered for him. Usually you only cheer for him when you think he is vulnerable or small or in despair. He does not want your cheers or your sympathy. He says you can stick em. Make no bones about it, this is a warning. If your little favorite happens to be on 205 Live because it is too bad. Neville says he is going to obliterate the division.
Rich Swann’s music plays and he makes his way onto the stage. Swann wants to know what happened to the man he looked up to.
Neville wants to know where Swann’s respect it. He took Swann under his wing in Japan and taught him everything he knows. Your career skyrocketed but where it the respect for the true King of the Cruiserweights.
Swann comes to the ring and he tells Neville he can call himself anything he wants, but as long as he holds this title, he is the best in the cruiserweight division and you cannot handle that.
Brian Kendrick comes out and he tells Swann how dare he talk to Neville like that. Kendrick says he asked how can you start a cruiserweight division without Neville. They are both pioneers and this would not be possible without them. Kendrick says Neville respects him.
Neville tells Swann he needs to learn his place.
Kendrick and Neville surround Swann and Swann with a shot to Neville but Kendrick takes over. Neville kicks Swann and TJ Perkins’ music plays and he comes to the ring but Neville with a kick to Perkins and he goes down.
Neville and Kendrick stand over Swann and Perkins.
Kendrick with Sliced Bread #2 to Perkins while Neville walks up the ramp.
We go to the Sensitivity Training and Jinder Mahal, Bo Dallas, Darren Young, and Bob Backlund are in there.
Enzo shows up a little late. He is asked to tell why he is here.
Enzo says he is here today because he showed his co-workers his Italian sausage. He says it was his partner’s fault because he left him out of the locker room. He is asked how long he has been with his partner and Enzo says he likes girls.
Enzo is told to take a seat and he ‘takes it’.
Jinder starts to speak and he is asked how he spells his name and Enzo interrupts.
We go to commercial.
We are back with more senistivity training but we go to the ring.
Match Number Four: Titus O’Neil versus Sin Cara
Cara with a springboard cross body and Braun Strowman’s music plays and he comes to the ring.
Cara and Titus stand in the ring because they probably missed Braun’s earlier comments. Strowman throws Cara down and then he clotheslines Titus and kicks him to the floor. Strowman with a running power slam to Titus. Cara with a suicide dive but Strowman sends Cara to the mat.
No Contest
Referees come out to hold their arms out to stop Strowman and Strowman does not care so he picks up Cara and carries him onto the stage.
Mick Foley tells Strowman to put Cara down.
Strowman reminds Foley that he told him ‘or else’. Strowman tosses Cara off the stage onto a tree and presents. Strowman kicks some Christmas trees and presents.
Officials check on Sin Cara while Foley stares at the damage.
We are back and Kevin asks Chris if he is okay. Kevin tells Chris to calm down and focus on the match. Chris points out it wasn’t Kevin who was hanging in that cage like a moron. Kevin says no one thinks Chris is a moron. Chris says you don’t know what it is like to be hanging above the ring like a sexy pinata. Chris says he is afraid of heights and he has arachnophobia. Kevin says that is acrophobia. Kevin says Chris is his best friend and his tag team partners.
Chris says that tonight Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns will get . . IT
Charlotte makes her way to the ring.
She tells everyone to bow down to your queen. She says she would call Sasha Banks out here, but after what happened, she might not make it. We saw what happened when Nia Jax got her hands on Sasha. Charlotte says at Roadblock, she knocked the boss out of Sasha Banks. Charlotte says she has solidified herself as the greatest female wrestler of all time. She would dominate everyone. Trish Stratus . . . Fabulous Moolah. Charlotte says she is the queen of pay per view.
You subscribe to the WWE Networking thinking this is the month that you think Charlotte loses and then she disappoints all of you. Charlotte says she is a guaranteed winner. Charlotte says Clemson will beat Ohio State in the college football playoffs. Charlotte says no one is on her level.
Bayley’s music interrupts and she makes her way to the ring.
Charlotte wants to know why is Bayley interrupting her.
Bayley says she is not here to interrupt Charlotte, she is here to congratulate her. Sasha versus Charlotte will go down as the greatest women’s rivalry in WWE history.
Charlotte says that is enough out of you. She says she doesn’t even know why Bayley put on ring gear because she does not belong in the ring. She says that Bayley belongs in the crowd paying to watch her.
Bayley says she was not finished. Now that Sasha and Charlotte is over, it is time for Charlotte and Bayley to begin. Last night there was a scoreboard and it was all about the scoreboard. Their scoreboard is different. It reads Bayley 2 and Charlotte 0. Bayley says she remembers what happened at Survivor Series.
Charlotte says those victories don’t count. Charlotte says she held up four fingers for her four title wins and the four of them and Charlotte says she was always number one and Bayley was always number four. The real reason you didn’t join her, Becky, and Sasha was that you weren’t good enough. Charlotte asks if the truth doesn’t hurt.
Bayley says she has heard it before. Why not prove now that she is good enough.
Charlotte asks if Bayley wants to wrestle her after what she put her body through with last night. She tells Bayley that she is dressed like a fifth grader so let’s go to school.
Charlotte asks for a referee.
Match Number Five: Bayley versus Charlotte in a Non Title Match
They lock up and Charlotte with a wrist lock. Bayley with a reversal and Charlotte goes to the mat. Charlotte with a reversal into a side head lock. Bayley with a side head lock of her own and a shoulder tackle. Charlotte kips up. Bayley with a waist lock and Charlotte with a snap mare and figure four head scissors and she rolls Bayley around the ring. Bayley with a wrist lock into a side head lock and take down. Charlotte gets a near fall while Bayley holds on to the side head lock.
Charlotte gets back to her feet and Charlotte escapes. Bayley returns to the side head lock. Bayley returns to the wrist lock and arm bar. Bayley with a rollup for a near fall and follows with a front face lock. Charlotte with a reversal. Bayley with a Japanese arm drag and cross body for a near fall. Bayley wooos and struts. Bayley with a drop toe hold and Bayley spins around on Bayley’s back. Bayley with a series of near falls.
Charlotte goes to the floor and we go to commercial.
We are back and Charlotte drives Bayley’s head into the mat. Charlotte kicks Bayley during the commercial break to gain the advantage. Charlotte gets a near fall and then she drives Bayley’s head into the mat again. Charlotte with an Irish whip and chop for a near fall. Charlotte with a reverse chin lock. Charlotte with a kick and she sends Bayley to the mat. Charlotte sends Bayley into the turnbuckles. Bayley sends Charlotte into the turnbuckles and Charlotte runs into boots. Both women go for clotheslines and both go down.
Charlotte and Bayley exchange forearms and Bayley takes control. Bayley with a take down and punches to Charlotte. Bayley with running double sledges followed by an elbow to the back and a sliding clothesline. Bayley sends Charlotte to the apron and hits a hanging cutter. Bayley with a shoulder in the corner and then she hits an elbow in the corner. Bayley with a boot to Charlotte and she goes to the turnbuckles but Charlotte knocks Bayley off the turnbuckles and kicks Bayley in the head.
Charlotte walks across Bayley’s chest and she goes up top for a moonsault and hits it but Bayley kicks out. Bayley with a crucifix cover for a near fall. Charlotte with chops and an Irish whip. Charlotte with more chops. Bayley with a backslide for the three count.
Winner: Bayley
After the match, the replays show that Charlotte’s shoulder might have been up before the three count.
We are back to the Sensitivity Training. They are told to pair up (even though there are five of them). Bo is told to know about boundaries. Bob and Darren do some role playing. Enzo mocks Jinder Mahal. Jinder mocks Enzo.
Enzo asks if it was insensitive if he smacked the taste out of Jinder’s mouth. He is told it would be so he decides not to do it.
We go to commercial.
We are back with an Emmalina clip.
Bo says he will stop forcing his BOliefs on to others. He is given his certificate.
Darren says he will stop being so selfish and supportive of his coach.
Bob says he will support Darren. They get their certificates.
Jinder says he will think before he acts out. He gets his certificate.
Enzo says he is excited about being more sensitive in all parts of his life. Enzo is given the certificate but he refuses it. He hits on the instructor and then Enzo turns around and Rusev is there.
He starts to leave and Jinder blocks his exit.
Jinder punches Enzo and then Rusev knocks him down. Jinder and Rusev punch Enzo and throw him around. Rusev punches Enzo while Jinder holds him. Jinder gets in a few shots while Rusev holds Enzo.
Lana shows up and she slaps Enzo in the face and she tells Rusev that special word and Rusev sends Enzo through a table with a uranage.
Match Number Six: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns versus Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho
Jericho hits Rollins from behind so they are going to start the match. Jericho with punches and Owens tags in and he kicks Rollins and chokes him. Owens with more kicks and Jericho tags in and Chris with a suplex and he poses for Roman. Jericho slaps Rollins in the back of the head and Owens tags in. Jericho with a knee and Owens punches Rollins. Owens punches Rollins and Jericho tags back in. Rolilns kicks Jericho and he sends Owens to the floor. Rollins with Slingblade for a near fall.
Rollins with a punch and chop followed by kicks. Rollins kicks Jericho to the apron. Rollins suplexes Jericho back into the ring. Roman tags in and they make a wish with Jericho and Roman with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Owens tags in and Kevin takes his time getting back in the ring. Roman with an uppercut to Owens. Owens with a kick but Reigns blocks a super kick. Reigns with an uppercut. Owens with a knee and Jericho tags in and goes up top and he is met with an uppercut. Owens and Jericho go to the floor and they head up the ramp to the back.
Rollins and Reigns follow after Kevin and Chris and Chris is brought back to the ring. Rollins with punches and chops. Reigns tags in and he connects with an uppercut. Jericho is Irish whipped into teh corner and Rollins wtih a forearm and Reigns with a boot.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Reigns tags in and he hits a few clotheslines and then he hits a flying clothesline. Reigns with an uppercut to Jericho. Owens pulls Reigns to the floor but Owens is sent into the ringside barrier. Reigns with a jumping drop kick to Owens and they return to the ring. Reigns with NeverEnding story and then he punches Jericho but Owens with a super kick for a near fall. Owens punches Reigns. Owens kicks Reigns and taunts him. Jericho tags in and he knees Reigns and snap mares Roman and applies a reverse chin lock. Reigns punches Owens Jericho with a drop kick.
Owens tags in and asks Roman about last night and he kicks Roman in the ribs. Jericho tags in and chokes Reigns in the ropes and Owens with a punch and Jericho gets a near fall. Jericho slaps Reigns and Reigns with an uppercut to Jericho and then one to Owens on the apron. Jericho with an enzuigiri and Owens tags in and kicks Reigns and punches him. Owens with a reverse chin lock. Reigns gets Owens up for a Samoan drop and both men are down.
Jericho and Rollins tag in and Rollins with a boot and then he hits a Blockbuster on Jericho. Rollins with one on Owens. Rollins with a running forearms to Jericho and Owens. Rollins with a DDT and stunner to Jericho and Owens and Rollins gets a near fall on Jericho. Jericho with an elbow but he misses a Lionsault. Jericho escapes a Pedigree but Rollins lands on his feet and hits an enzuigiri. Jericho is sent to the floor and Rollins hits a suicide dive onto Jerihco and Owens. Owens grabs Rollins on the floor and Reigns with a Superman punch to Owens. Rollins with a springboard knee to the temple and he goes for a frog splash but Jericho gets his knees up. Jericho with the Walls of Jericho but Rollins gets to the ropes.
Jericho goes for a springboard drop kick but Reigns with a superman punch.
Braun Strowman comes down to the ring and he pulls Reigns off the apron and the referee calls for the bell.
No Contest
After the match, Strowman comes into the ring and Owens and Jericho feel that their night is over. Strowman with a punch to the chest and a running power slam.
Jericho and Owens send Reigns into the ring and Strowman says everyone will fall before he hits a running power slam on Reigns.
We go to credits.
