Thomas Latimer, who appears as Kenneth Cameron for WWE’s developmental promotion, NXT, was arrested late Thanksgiving Eve in St. Petersburg, Florida, on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication. He was taken into custody to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and released on $5,100 bail, with the battery charge costing $5,000 and the disorderly intoxication charge costing $100.

This is not Latimer’s first run-in with the law. He was arrested on January 29, 2011 in Hillsbourgh, Florida, on charges of driving under the influence.

It would appear that WWE cut ties with Latimer following his arrest. His profile has been removed from the roster page of the developmental promotion’s official website, fcwwrestling.info.

Latimer, who is 26-years-old and hails from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, joined WWE two years ago. He has been tag teaming with Conor O’Brian as of late, with the duo known as The Ascension. The Wrestling Observer speculated last week that he and O’Brien were among the handful of developmental talent most likely to be promoted to the main roster.

@HalfWayJames nowhere. some cops would provoke young people (not particularly and not purposely) when they’re blasted. now this kid has a felony on his record by the looks of this article. he should have controlled his anger if the cop was maybe bullish. i held my breath when my face almost collided onto an exterior corner of cop vehicle when a cop nudged me onto it for going back and forth verbally before the arrest. not hating on the cop in the artcle, I wish/assume he is well.

i like wrestling. wrestling is good.

    WWE needs some tag teams!!!!

  • DaveyH

I could be wrong but as he is from England if WWE have released him, and the circumstances surrounding it, I’d guess his US Visa will be revoked too. What an idiot

Feel for Connor O’Brian. Wonder if they’ll find someone else to be his partner? Was looking forward to them being called up to the main roster. He’s young & may be able to turn things around but for the now it looks like Cameron’s going back to the indys…

  • Sam Peters

damn…i was looking forward to seeing them break into the Tag Team division

  • http://eh.... Bob

wow u must be real stupid to finally get a break by wwe then think ur still in college and drink it up….way to go thomas ^5

  • Omar

    @ Shawn O B
Where does it say the cop was being a dick? The guy was charged for being intoxicated and even has a history of run-ins with the law. It’s a shame that he blew his chance at making the main roster. He’s young so hopefully he learns from his mistakes and makes it back to the roster before it’s too late.

  • Shawn O B

he definitely should have just chilled that night. even if the cop was being kind of a dick.

  • Jeff

The Ascension was very good. Tough break for Connor to lose his spot like this….
