WWE Offers Mick Foley a New Legends Deal, Why Isn’t He Going To Sign It?

– Mick Foley revealed in an interview with “The Drive with Marc James” on CBS Radio in Charlotte, North Carolina that WWE has offered him a new Legends deal but he probably won’t sign it. Here is a quote from the interview:

“Honestly, I’m probably not going to sign my Legends deal with WWE because I don’t think they did the right thing by the guys with the video game. The check was a little low. Last year, there was a bankruptcy, but this year there wasn’t. So, I don’t see the upside to signing the Legends deal when the carrot isn’t there dangling. So, I’m not going to sign my Legends deal.”

Even then, most of the voice work could be taken from older shit hes done.. and again you’d got to think, why wouldn’t he do it regardless if its billions of pennies… works work, moneys money. he either has too much money as it is, or hes trying to be a hipster and jumping on the “WWE is evil” bandwagon.
Foley is getting more annoying than JimRoss these days. ranting constantly about “heres what they should do…” when in reality they just sound like grumpy old men with massive sticks up their ass for some unknown reason… (well for JR the reason is known… got his dumb ass fired)

Its not just that. All they would do for a video game is a little voice over work, so what sort of financial gain do they expect? It costs a lot of money to make a computer game, so I doubt that anywhere near as much money is made from a game as people think, especially when you think how many wrestlers would have to be paid for doing voice over work for the game.
Surely the real money from a legends deal is from shirts and figures etc.

“The check was a little low.” You know, no matter what, it’s probably better than any check anyone who is reading this article is making. As much as I love Mick Foley, this just bothers me.
