– The following matches have been announced for WWE’s September tour of Puerto Rico:
Sept 3rd in Fajardo: The Great Khali vs CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and Primo vs Dolph Ziggler and Carlito
Sept 4th in San Juan: Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk, John Morrison vs Chris Jericho, Carlito vs Primo
Sept 5th in Arecibo: 12 Man Battle Royal with the winner facing CM Punk at the end of the show for the World Heavyweight Championship Participants: Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Kane, Great Khali, Matt Hardy, John Morrison, Carlito, Primo and others.
Sept 6th in Ponce: Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk, Matt Hardy and Primo vs Chris Jericho and Carlito
– In addition to Chris Jericho, The Great Khali will be featured in the new “MacGruber” movie, which is based on the Saturday Night Live character. Jorma Taccone directs the film from a script he wrote with Will Forte (who stars as MacGruber) and John Solomon. Val Kilmer, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe co-star.
– WWE is preparing another Hulk Hogan DVD for release this fall. Sources within the company have not clarified whether it will simply be a match collection or if it will take a documentary approach to an aspect of his career. PWInsider, which reported the story, interestingly noted that the DVD, due for early November, will effectively be competing with Hulk Hogan’s new “My Life Outside the Ring” book, which drops on October 27. The book is not a WWE release.
