WWE plans on eventually ending brand split for the women

WWE has two main roster tv shows, but ratings for both shows are dwindling. So it seems WWE is trying to tackle this issue.

There simply are not enough female superstars on the main roster. Taking the brand split into consideration, there are even fewer superstars on RAW and Smackdown. With the inclusion of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, it will be difficult to have a tag team division with just eleven people.

According to a report from Wrestle Votes, WWE is planning to slowly shift their Women’s Division into crossing over between rosters. The belief is that the titles will be floating, but it will not be happening often.

“Source: the Women’s division roster is slowly going to be crossing over more between both shows.

The plan is to have the Women’s Tag Team Champions appear on both brands initially, however, not on a weekly basis.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE will be booking this. Elimination Chamber is on this Sunday and it will be interesting to see who the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions will be.
