WWE Power Rankings (September 20th, 2018)

8. New Day (SD Live Tag Team Champions)

There is no denying that Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods have become one of the greatest tag teams of all-time over the past couple years. And the only thing the trio have done recently is add to their résumé.

After defeating The Bludgeon Brothers a few weeks ago for the SD Tag Titles, the New Day defended the tag titles at Hell in a Cell against Rusev Day. After a great back and forth matchup, Kofi Kingston and Big E picked up the win for New Day and retained the SD Tag titles in the process.

With Rusev Day in their rear view mirror, The New Day turn their attention to their next challengers at WWE’s Super Show-Down, challengers that they know very, very well, The Bar. This week on SD Live, Kofi squared off with Cesaro in a fantastic one-on-one match. However, Cesaro got the best of Kofi after Kingston took one too many risks and got caught with a Neutralizer from out of nowhere from the Swiss Superman. With The Bar lurking, New Day’s fifth tag title reign could be in jeopardy, and so could their spot in our Rankings.
