WWE RAW Results For September 14th, 2015: Sting Teams Up With John Cena

Welcome to the WWE Raw pre-show and we are live on the WWE Network. Scott Stanford, Corey Graves and David Otunga. They hype what we will see tonight, which is the historic announcement for The Authority, Divas and Tag Team Championships being on the line.

The usual promo code for Shop WWE is shown. There is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw.

Lita calls into the show. She commented on The Divas Revolution. She thinks that the girls will main event a WWE event one day as they have so much momentum right now. Not only RAW but a PPV event. She then commented on a possible tag team match with herself and Trish Stratus vs. The Bella Twins. Lita said that right now she doesn’t see a reason to come out of retirement for one more match.

Sting will be on tonight’s RAW. Also, The Wyatts will be on Miz TV.

Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw, there is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw. The Authority walks down to the ring to open the show. Stephanie McMahon welcomes us to the show. Triple H said that this year has been a success. Triple H said that one man will lead the WWE into the future and that man is Seth Rollins. Triple H hyped that Rollins will defend both the U.S and WWE Championship at Night of Champions this Sunday. Stephanie hyped tonight’s Divas Championship match and how it is history in the making. Triple H announced that Sting will wrestle on RAW tonight against The Big Show. Triple H asked if the fans were ready and they went along with it. The New Day made their way down to the ring and started dancing with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

-Commercial Break-

WWE Tag Team Championship match: New Day © vs. Prime Time Players

Young and Kingston started things off. Both men went for early pin falls. Young tagged in O’Neil, but in the process, Big E got the tag. This led to Big E hitting O’Neil with a series of rights. O’Neil reversed an irish whip and hit a power slam then hit a leg drop for 2. Young tagged in and hit a series of chops to the chest of Big E. O’Neil was tagged in, but walked right into a belly-to-belly suplex. O’Neil fought back once Kingston was tagged in. He tagged in Young, who hit a big throw then knocked Big E off the apron. Young went for the gut check but blocked. Big E tagged in, he ran right into a right hand. Kingston grabbed Young’s leg, which distracted him, Big E tossed him into the ring post and then New Day got the heat on Young.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with New Day double teaming Young. Moments later, Young managed to duck a clothesline from Big E and get a hot tag to O’Neil. He then can him like a house of fire. O’Neil hit Big E with a series of power slams to Big E. He caught Kingston, which led to a power slam. He hit a double splash in the corner for 2 on Big E. O’Neil hit a spine buster, but Woods got up on the apron, O’Neil grabbed the trombone and tossed it to the floor. Big E with an attack from behind, New Day hit their finisher on O’Neil for the win.

Winner and still champs: New Day.

Singles match: Paige vs. Sasha Banks

The two girls start brawling to begin the match. Banks with a shoulder knock down, she then locked in an arm submission, which Paige fought out of. Paige with a series of kicks to the face of Banks for 2. Paige with a german suplex that sent Banks to the floor. Paige went to the apron, she went for a dive, but Banks moved and Paige at the floor. Back in the ring, Banks hit the Bank Statement to Paige for the win.

Winner: Banks

Post-match, Team B.A.D attacked both Paige and Becky Lynch. They dumped the two girls to the floor and stood tall in the ring to close the segment.

-Commercial Break-

Miz TV time, Miz introduces The Wyatt Family and they walk down to the ring. Bray Wyatt sat down and told Miz that he is not safe here. Miz assured them that he is not Reigns and Ambrose’s partner. Miz wanted to know who Braun Strowman is. He tried to ask Strowman, but Strowman just looked at him and Miz backed off. Miz asked what Wyatt wanted. Wyatt said he wanted Miz, Reigns, and Ambrose to suffer for their sins. Wyatt said that in the end, they all fall down. Reigns and Ambrose walked down to the ring. Ambrose tossed Miz out of the ring. Reigns and Ambrose had a faceoff with The Wyatts. Reigns said that he will make Wyatt pay for taking out Jimmy Uso. Reigns said that Wyatt is not a man, but he needs to surround himself with monsters. Reigns said that they found a third man and “at Night of Champions, they’re going to whip y’all’s ass.” Wyatt laughed in the face of Reigns. This led to the camera cutting to Michael Cole hyping Sting’s first match on RAW.

Singles match: John Cena vs. Sheamus

They lock up, Sheamus with a side headlock on Cena then sent him to the floor that also sent us to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with Sheamus in control of Cena. Sheamus with a knee drop off the top rope for 2. Cena fought back, he landed a kick and hit a spinning DDT to Sheamus for a near fall. Cena went for the AA but blocked and Sheamus rolled him up for 2. Sheamus locked in the cloverleaf submission hold, but Cena got to the bottom rope. Cena rolled to the apron, Sheamus met him and went for the clubbing right hands, which he landed over and over. Sheamus lifted Cena up, he went for a power slam, but blocked and Cena locked in the STF. Sheamus made it to the ropes and broke the hold. Cena with a series of clubbing right hands to the chest of Sheamus. Cena went for the AA but blocked. Sheamus with a running high knee, then a clothesline. Sheamus went for the Brogue Kick but reversed and Cena hit him with a clothesline. They exchange right hands, Cena went for the AA but blocked and Sheamus hit a suplex for a near fall. Cena blocked a big boot and hit a face plant into an STF. Sheamus stood up and hit a rolling senton. Cena no sold it and hit the AA to Sheamus for the win.

Winner: Cena.

Ryback is standing in the ring and cuts a promo in the ring about how proud he is to be the Intercontinental Champion. Ryback brought up Kevin Owens having no respect for him, this ring or being a champion. He said that a true warrior doesn’t attack a man from behind. This led to Kevin Owens walking out to the stage. Owens said that Ryback talked about a special book that helped him out to get over his negative thoughts. Owens said that he bought this book and after reading it, he feels sorry for Ryback for believing this book. Owens said that this book is an excuse for weak people. Owens said that Ryback is a weak man inside of a shell of a monster. Owens tossed the cover of the book in the face of Ryback. Ryback said that he is the big guy Ryback. He wakes up thankful and ready to kick some ass. Ryback tries to salvage this segment by talking about how hard he worked to get where he is today. Owens said that if he ever gets an opportunity for the title and will take it from him. Owens said that he will prove that Ryback is a weak little boy. Ryback said good because The Authority has already booked himself vs. Owens for the IC Title at Night of Champions.

-Commercial Break-

In what was supposed to be a six-man tag team match, Neville, and the Lucha Dragons ran down to the ring meet Stardust with The Ascension, who are already in the ring. A brawl broke out with the babyfaces standing tall in the ring.

We get a video package hyping Nikki Bella vs. Charlotte, which is up next.

-Commercial Break-

Divas Championship match: Nikki Bella © vs. Charlotte

They lock up, Charlotte with a series of tosses. Charlotte with a spear, but in the process, Nikki caught her neck and hit a DDT for 2. Nikki worked over the arm of Charlotte. Nikki puts Charlotte on the apron, she sued the top rope to her advantage. Nikki joined her on the apron and Nikki sent Charlotte’s shoulder straight into the apron.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with Nikki applying an armbar to Charlotte. This leads to Charlotte powering out of it with a slam. Charlotte with a series of chops then hit a big boot for a near fall. Bella worked over the injured left arm of Charlotte. Charlotte reversed a clothesline and hit a neck breaker. Charlotte ran at Nikki, but Nikki caught her with a dropkick, then a knee to the face of Charlotte. Charlotte reversed the Alabama Slam and hit a spear to Nikki. Alicia Fox jumped into the match, this distracted the referee, Brie Bella got into the ring and there was Twin Magic, Brie went for a roll up, but Charlotte reversed it and pinned Brie Bella for the win.

Ric Flair walks down to the ring quickly to celebrate. Brie reveals it was her. Stephanie McMahon walked out to the stage. She said that Brie Bella wasn’t even in the match. Stephanie said that Charlotte is the winner of the match, but not the new champion.

Winner Charlotte, but still champion Nikki Bella.

Nikki Bella will set the record as Divas Champion. Stephanie McMahon revealed that Charlotte will face Nikki this Sunday at Night of Champions and if Nikki is DQ’d then she will lose the Divas Championship.

-Commercial Break-

Singles match: Cesaro vs. Rusev

They lock up, Cesaro worked over the left arm of Rusev in the early going. Cesaro with a hip toss then and hit a head scissor takeover. Cesaro with a big back body drop. Cesaro with a splash for 2. This led to Rusev reversing a move and hitting a power slam. Dolph Ziggler walked down to the ring and started talking to Lana. This distracted Rusev, Cesaro rolled up Rusev for the win.

Winner: Cesaro

Post-match, Ziggler hit Rusev in the face with a superkick.

-Commercial Break-

We see The Authority talking to The Big Show backstage about how he will destroy Sting tonight. Triple H said that Sting is a problem and Big Show is a problem solver. Big Show agreed and walked out of the office.

Singles match: Sting vs. Big Show

A brawl breaks out to begin the match. Sting uses his speed to get around Big Show. Sting with a series of kicks then hit a DDT to Big Show. Sting hit the Stinger Splash to Big Show. This led to Seth Rollins running down to the ring and attacks Sting. This causes the DQ. Rollins and Big Show beat down Sting until John Cena ran down to the ring and made the save.

Triple H announced a tag team match between the four men.

-Commercial Break-

Tag Team match: Sting and Cena vs. Rollins and Big Show

Cena and Big Show start off the match. Cena went for a power slam right away, but of course Big Show blocked it. Rollins tagged in and put the boots to Cena. Rollins went for a clothesline, but Cena ducked and sent Rollins to the floor. Big Show tagged himself in and started landing clubbing right hands to the back of Cena’s head. Rollins tagged in but ran into a clothesline by Cena. Rollins tagged in Big Show, who then punched Cena in the gut then talked trash to Sting, who was on the apron at this point. Big Show hit a splash off the second rope to Cena for a near fall. Big Show with a power slam and went for the splash again, but Cena rolled out of the way. Cena gets the hot tag to Sting. This led to Sting hitting a clothesline to the now legal Rollins then two Stinger Splashes. Big Show with a shoulder tackle to Sting. Cena with an AA to Big Show. Sting with the Scorpion Death Drop into the Scorpion Deathlock for the win.

Winners: Cena and Sting.

Both Cena and Sting celebrate in the ring as Seth Rollins watched on from ringside to close the show.
