WWE RAW Results For June 29th: No DQ Tag Team Match

Welcome to the WWE Raw pre-show and we are live on the WWE Network. Scott Stanford, Corey Graves and David Otunga. They hype what we will see tonight, which is John Cena issuing an open challenge for his U.S Title on tonight’s episode of RAW.

Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw, there is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw. Seth Rollins with J&J Security walks down to the ring to open the show. He said that he did something that no one in WWE history did last week. He took power when he conquered the conqueror, (Brock Lesnar).

He said that Brock is not here tonight. He said that Lesnar is boarding a plane to Japan right now and he hopes that Lesnar is thinking about what happened last week. Rollins told the crowd to give Jamie Noble some appreciation for breaking his ribs last week. Stand up and show them some respect. Rollins revealed that he got Kane and J&J Security brand new Apple watches! They’re so excited about their new watches. Noble said that when they get to the back, his take a selfie. Rollins praised Kane for being around WWE since 1997 (he’s been there longer than that).

Rollins said that he’s sending Kane to Hawaii for a vacation. This led to some Hawaiian dancers coming down to the ring. Kane said that this was one of his dreams and he can’t wait to go. Rollins said that he will send him in style after beating Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in the main event. Wait, there’s more.

Rollins said that J&J Security should be rolling in style, not some crappy rental car. He then revealed a brand new Cadillac for them. J&J are so excited for this as Joey Mercury is standing through the sunroof.  Rollins said that this is what true power really looks like. Noble is in the front seat honking the horn.

The Big Show walks out for his upcoming match.

Singles Match: Big Show vs. Mark Henry with Miz on commentary.

They exchange some right hands to start the match, Henry with a shoulder tackle and then a splash for 2. Big Show popped up and hit Henry twice with the KO punch….

Winner: Big Show

Post-match, Ryback ran down to the ring and the two start brawling. Miz ran in and hit Ryback with a big boot. He then runs up to the stage to taunt Ryback. This led to Ryback grabbing the mic and demanding that his match with Miz scheduled for later tonight to start right now.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Ryback Vs. Miz

Miz ran out of the ring and then back in. Ryback chased him down, he bounced Miz’s head of the canvas over and over. Ryback with some chops in the corner. Ryback no sold a right hand by Miz and then hit a standing suplex for 2. Miz rolled to the floor to regroup, he tried to flee through the crowd, but caught and sent shoulder first into the barricade. Once back in the ring, Miz hit a snap DDT to Ryback for 2. Miz followed it up with a big boot for 2. Ryback popped up and hit a spine buster. Miz ran to the back and Ryback won by count out.

Winner: Ryback

Singles Match: Paige vs. Alicia Fox

Fox got the upper hand with a trip on Paige. She would follow it up with some right hands. Paige reversed an Irish whip and hit the thez press. Fox rolled to the floor where The Bellas distracted Paige and Fox hit her from behind.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Fox hitting a suplex on Paige for 2. Fox locked in a headlock on Paige, but when Paige fought out, Fox hit her with a backbreaker for a near fall. Paige reversed an Irish whip and hit a series of knees to the face of Fox in the corner. Paige with a superkick for a near fall. Nikki distracted Paige and this led to Fox trying to roll up Paige for a quick pin, but Paige rolled through and pinned Fox instead.

Winner: Paige

-Commercial Break-

U.S Championship Match: John Cena © vs. Cesaro with Kevin Owens on commentary

They lock up, Cena with a monkey flip, but walks into a German suplex by Cesaro. Cena popped up and went for the AA, but punched right in the mouth for 2. Cesaro with a gut wrench powerbomb for 2. Cesaro with a series of uppercuts, but Cena fired back with a standing dropkick. Cena missed a splash in the corner and Cesaro hit a double stomp to the chest of Cena. Cesaro with an elbow drop off the middle rope for 2.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Cesaro going for a leg submission, but blocked and Cena hit a sidewalk slam. Cena went for the five knuckle shuffle, but Cesaro popped up and hit a clothesline for 2. Cesaro went for the giant swing but blocked and Cena hit the Springboard Stunner for a near fall. Cena went for the AA but blocked and Cesaro hit a huge uppercut for a near fall. Cena with a trip takedown and locked in the STF, Cesaro reversed and locked in the sharpshooter. Cena got the to the ropes, so Cesaro broke the hold.

Cesaro hit a suplex off the middle rope for 2. Cesaro with an uppercut, but when he went for a second one, Cena hit a big boot, then a DDT off the second rope for 2. They exchange right hands, Cesaro with a big boot, then went to the top rope and hit a Crossbody.

Cena rolled through then hit a facebuster for a near fall. Kevin Owens got up from commentary, he stood at ringside as Cesaro dropkicked Cena off the top rope to the floor. Owens sat back down as Cesaro went to hit a running uppercut on Cena. Back in the ring, Cesaro covered him for 2. Cesaro went for the neutralizer but blocked and Cena hit a back body drop. Cena hit the sunset flip into a pin attempt, but only got 2.

Cena went for the AA but blocked and Cesaro hit the neutralizer for a near fall. Cesaro with a few uppercuts then a spine buster into the giant swing. Cesaro with the sharpshooter, but Kevin Owens ran in and attacked Cena and Cesaro.

The match ends with a double DQ.

Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons vs. New Day and Bo Dallas.

Kalisto and Xavier Woods start things off, Kalisto with an armdrag then tagged in Sin Cara, who hit a springboard senton. Woods with a trip and then tagged in Bo Dallas. Cara tripped him, he then worked over Bo’s left arm and tagged in Darren Young. This led to Young hitting a splash on Bo then tagged in Titus O’Neil, who hit a fallaway slam. Kalisto tagged in, he hit Bo with a series of clubbing shots.

However, Bo fought back and hit a big clothesline for 2. Kalisto got the tag to Young, who hit a clothesline on Bo and this crowd is DEAD. Young hits a back breaker to Bo on the apron of the ring to send us to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with Sin Cara hitting a series of springboard moves on Big E. Cara with a kick to the jawline of Big E then a front senton off the top rope for a near fall. Young gets the hot tag and hit a splash on Big E for 2. Big E sent Young to the floor where Bo Dallas would go on to hit him with a clothesline then send him back into the ring. Moments later, O’Neil got the hot tag and hit a sick clothesline on Kofi Kingston.

The New Day made the save, then things broke down in the ring. Lucha Dragons took out New Day with a dive through the ropes and Kofi rolled up Titus for 2. Kofi with a back kick then a dive, but caught by Titus, who hit a powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons

-Commercial Break-

Dolph Ziggler walks down to the ring with Lana. Ziggler began to cut a promo about how he and Lana are now a couple. Lana said that for years she never knew what a real man was. She said that Rusev told her everything to do, but now she is her own person. This leads to Rusev walking down to the ring with Summer Rae. Rusev insulted Lana about the way she kissed. Ziggler told Rusev to be quiet and stop talking to his girlfriend like that. Ziggler told him to just walk away. Rae told Lana that she is a two-faced phony, then slapped Lana.

This led to Lana attacking her and an a cat fight broke out. Rae and Rusev walked to the back while Lana and Ziggler stood tall in the ring.

Singles Match: Neville vs. Sheamus

Sheamus with a series of right hands, Neville ducked a clothesline and Sheamus was sent rolling to the floor. We cut to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with Sheamus hitting a big-time suplex for 2. Sheamus put the boots to Neville in the corner, but Neville ran out of that corner with a big kick. Sheamus hit Neville in the gut, then followed up with a back breaker. Neville with a series of big boots, then right hands.

Neville ducked a clothesline and Sheamus went flying to the floor. Neville with a springboard moonsault taking out Sheamus. Back in the ring, Neville went for Red Arrow, but Sheamus kicked him off the ropes. Sheamus missed the Brogue kick and Neville rolled up Sheamus for 2. Sheamus hit the Brogue kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus

-Commercial Break-

Tag Team Match: Seth Rollins and Kane vs. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns

All four men start brawling to start the match. Ambrose dumped Rollins to the floor, then took him out with a dive. Reigns and Ambrose double teamed Kane in the ring. Rollins then got back in the ring and dumped Ambrose to the floor. Back in the ring, Kane clotheslines Reigns. Rollins sent Ambrose into the barricade.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break and it looks like a normal tag team match. Rollins missed a splash in the corner, but ended getting the tag to Kane. Reigns with a big boot to Kane then a clothesline off the middle rope. Ambrose got the hot tag and cleared house on Rollins. Ambrose with a bulldog on Rollins then drop kicked Kane off the apron. Ambrose sent Rollins to the floor, he hit Rollins and Kane with an elbow drop. Ambrose then grabbed a table from under the ring, but Rollins hit Ambrose with a superkick. Reigns attacked Rollins from behind, then hit a powerbomb.

Reigns hit Kane with a clothesline. Mercury tried hitting Reigns with a kendo stick, but Reigns blocked it and hit him with it. He then started hitting Kane with it. Reigns with a superman punch to Kane then Rollins. Reigns was about to go for the spear, but then Bray Wyatt appeared and started attacking Reigns.

Wyatt sent Reigns into the steel steps, then chokeslammed him on the announce table. Kane went for a chokeslam on Ambrose, but Ambrose blocked and hit a clothesline. Rollins attacked him from behind, Kane hit a chokeslam on Ambrose than a pedigree by Rollins for the win.

Winners: Kane and Rollins.

Post-match, Rollins was about to put Ambrose through a table in the ring, but Roman Reigns ran back down into the ring to make the save. Kane caught him and hit a chokeslam to Reigns. Moments later Reigns would attempt a comeback, but the numbers game got to him. The Authority beat him down and then Rollins powerbombed Reigns through a table. Rollins ended the show with another pedigree. Bray Wyatt then re-entered the ring to hit Sister Abgail on Reigns. He stood tall to close the show.
