Welcome to the WWE Raw pre-show and we are live on the WWE Network. Scott Stanford, Corey Graves and David Otunga. David Otunga mentioned his return to the ring at Sunday’s WWE live event. They hype what we will see tonight, which is Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus and Ryback vs. Big Show is booked for tonight’s RAW.

The usual promo code for Shop WWE is shown. There is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw.

Highlights of Brock Lesnar destroying Kofi Kingston are shown.

Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”

Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw, there is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw. Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman walk down to the ring to open the show. Heyman does his great introduction and gets a good pop. He said that Lesnar is not a god of forgiveness, but is the god of violent retribution and he will seek that on Seth Rollins at Battleground. He said that Lesnar will also seek that on whoever stands with Rollins. Heyman brings up that Lesnar defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30. Heyman said that he knows that his job is to sell the match of Lesnar vs. Rollins at Battleground. He knows that his client will take the WWE title back and he’ll ensure that the beating will begin tonight! Heyman knows that Seth Rollins will be here tonight and his client will be looking for Rollins tonight.

The Big Show walks out for his match.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: The Big Show vs. Ryback with The Miz on commentary

Big Show with a shoulder tackle then some chops in the corner while Miz was on the microphone talking. Ryback fought out of the corner with a series of strikes, then some big boots. Big Show chopped the chest of Ryback and then put the knees to the ribs of Ryback in the corner. Big Show with a face plant to Ryback.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Ryback making his comeback was Miz talks trash to the fans about not being from Cleveland, but Hollywood. Ryback with a shoulder tackle then hit Big Show with the meat hook clothesline and then a splash for 2. Ryback heads to the top rope, but Big Show missed the top rope splash. Big Show hit Ryback with a chokeslam then went to the middle rope where he hit a second rope. Miz ran in and attacked Big Show.

The match ends in a no contest.

Miz taunts the crowd as Big Show and Ryback stood up. Ryback hit the Shell Shock on Miz then Big Show chokeslammed him. Ryback with a meathook clothesline and stood tall in the ring.

-Commercial Break-

We see J&J Security checking out Chicago and talking trash about the city while outside of Wrigley Field.

Singles Match: Paige vs. Brie Bella with Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox.

Paige shoved her into the corner and put the boots to her in the corner. Paige walked into a back elbow. Brie sent her to the floor, she followed and then tossed her back into the ring. We see Tamina and Naomi looking on from the backstage area. Paige with an up kick to Brie then shoved her into the corner where she landed a series of knees to the face. Paige with a superkick then went for the PTO, but blocked. Brie with a big boot, but missed a drop kick. Paige sent Brie into Nikki, who was on the apron. Fox distracted Paige and Brie hit a facebuster for the win.

Winner: Brie Bella

Post-match, Fox kicked Paige in the head, then Nikki hit the Rack Attack on Paige.

Singles Match: Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus

Reigns with an early shoulder block that has Sheamus slide out of the ring to regroup. Back in the ring, Sheamus hit a powerslam then a knee drop for 2. Sheamus went to the top rope, but Reigns pulled him down and hit a clothesline sending Sheamus to the floor. Back in the ring, Reigns went to the top rope, but Sheamus knocked him down and sent him head first off the ring post.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Reigns bleeding from his lip and hitting a Samoan drop. Reigns with some clotheslines then a drop kick on the apron. Reigns with another Samoan drop, he then went for the superman punch, but missed. Sheamus with a backbreaker for 2. Sheamus came off the second rope, but Reigns hit him with a superman punch. The lights go out and Bray Wyatt comes down to the ring. Reigns hit him with a superman punch. Reigns the discovers it was not him as Wyatt appeared on the titantron by saying “anyone, but you.” Wyatt disappears, the bell rings and Sheamus is the winner by countout.

Winner: Sheamus by countout.

Randy Orton walked down to the ring and attacked Sheamus. The two brawled around ringside. Orton hit an RKO to Sheamus and stood tall in the ring.

We see Triple H talking with Seth Rollins and J&J Security. Triple H wanted to talk to Rollins by himself. He wants to know how Rollins will deal Brock Lesnar. Triple H said that all that matters is Rollins walking out as WWE Champion at Battleground. Triple H just told him to do the unthinkable, callout Brock Lesnar. Rollins agrees and walks away.

-Commercial Break-

Rusev is with Summer Rae in the ring. He said that he would like to apologize for wasting one year of his life with Lana. He would also apologize to the fans for them lying to themselves about Lana. Yup. Rusev said that Dolph Ziggler is not as passionate, better looking or as strong as he is. Rae said that the fans should be given the respect that he deserves. Dolph Ziggler with Lana walk down to the ring. Ziggler said that everything Rusev has in WWE is due to Lana. Ziggler said that Rusev needs to realize that Lana is gone and then made out with Lana in front of him. Lana then squared off with Rae, they were about to get into until Rusev hit Ziggler with his crutch. Rusev took off his boot, Rae attacked Lana from behind, then sent her flying out to the floor. Ruse then puts the crutch under Ziggler’s throat and sent the other end of it smashing into the mat.

-Commercial Break-

We are shown a video of Dolph Ziggler being stretchered to the back.

Bo Dallas walked down to the ring and cut a promo about how good things happen to good people like himself if all they do is Believe.

Singles Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Bo Dallas

Dean Ambrose with a knee strike to the gut of Bo, but is tripped and Bo locked in a headlock. Moments later, Bo missed a knee drop and Ambrose made his comeback. Ambrose with a series of strikes, then a splash in the corner. He finished it off with the Dirty Deeds.

Winner: Ambrose.

Singles Match: King Barrett vs. R-Truth

Barrett with a knockdown, then sent Truth to the floor where he sent him head first into the ring post. Back in the ring, Barrett hit Truth with a big boot to send us to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with Truth fighting out of a headlock and hitting a back elbow. Truth with a back elbow for 2. Truth with a big boot, he went to the top rope and was caught in midair by Barrett’s finisher, “The Bull Hammer.”

Winner: Barrett.

-Commercial Break-

Seth Rollins with J&J Security walk down to the ring. The three of them have axe handles in their hands. Rollins talked about how they put Lesnar down two weeks ago like a dog. Rollins said that Brock Lesnar is yesterday’s news. Rollins called out Lesnar and questioned if Lesnar is still the beast that everyone thinks he is or if he’s still Paul Heyman’s b*tch. This leads to Brock Lesnar walking to the stage.

Heyman pulls up a cart that has some tools in it. Lesnar starts destroying J&J Security’s car with two axes. He then ripped a door and started power slamming it. J&J Security ran up to Lesnar, but Lesnar locked in the Kimura lock to Jamie Noble then hit a suplex to Joey Mercury. Lesnar ran to the ring with Brock Lesnar chasing after Seth Rollins through the crowd. Lesnar grabbed the WWE title and stood tall in the ring.

-Commercial Break-

Tag Team Match: Lucha Dragons vs. New Day with the Prime Time Players on commentary.

Sin Cara and Kofi Kingston start things off. Cara with a belly to belly, then tagged in Kalisto, who hit a splash. Kofi with a clubbing shot to the back of Kalisto and tagged in Big E, who hit a powerslam. Kalisto ducked a clothesline and hit a springboard dive for 2. Kalisto with a kick to the face of Big E and sent him to the floor. Kalisto and Sin Cara knocked Kofi off the apron to the floor. They then hit a dive off the top rope taking out the two New Day members…

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with The New Day beating down Kalisto. Moments later, Kalisto fought back and got the hot tag to Sin Cara. This led to Sin Cara cleaning house on the former tag team champions. Cara with a dive off the top rope taking out Kofi. Cara hit a belly to belly to Kofi for a near fall as Big E broke up the pin attempt. Cara sent Big E to the floor, then Kofi. The two men went for a dive, but Cara missed and ate the barricade. Kalisto was caught by Big E, who hit a belly to belly. Back in the ring, The New Day hit their finisher on Sin Cara for the win.

Winners: The New Day.

-Commercial Break-

John Cena is in the ring for his open challenge. Cena said that he is still the U.S Champion and the man to beat. Kevin Owens walked out to the stage and that the John Cena’s talk ends tonight. He said that he is no longer wants the U.S Title, but rather needs it now.

He said that now that he doesn’t have the NXT Title, he wants the U.S Title right now. Cesaro music hits and he walks down to the ring. He said that no one wants to hear Owens complain, but rather step aside. He said that he is the one challenging John Cena. He said that he had Cena beat last week, but Owens cost him the match. Owens walked out of the ring and to the back.

The match starts when we come back from break. Cena hit a drop kick on Cesaro, but missed a splash in the corner. Cesaro with a suplex on Cena for 2. Cesaro with a spike DDT for 2 sending us to another commercial break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Cena hitting a sidewalk slam, then another and then missed the five knuckle shuffle. Cesaro with the crossface, Cena countered and locked in the STF, but Cesaro got to the bottom rope. Cena with a back body drop, then went for the AA, but blocked and Cesaro hit a gutwrench  suplex. Cesaro with a series of uppercuts that led to him going for the giant swing, but Cena reversed in midair and hit a DDT for 2. Cena went to the top rope, but Cesaro drop kicked him off and sent him flying to the floor.

Cesaro with a running uppercut and then tossed Cena back into the ring. Cesaro went for a powerbomb, but reversed and Cena hit a hurricanrana then a facebuster for 2. Cesaro popped up and hit an uppercut for 2. Cesaro tossed Cena to the floor then hit a fallaway slam to Cena into the barricade. Back in the ring, Cesaro put Cena on the top rope, but Cena fought him off and pushed him down. Cena with a leg drop off the top rope for 2.

Cena off the ropes, but Cesaro caught him and hit him with an uppercut for 2. Cena popped up and hit an AA on Cesaro for 2. The fans are going wild for this back and forth match. Cena ran at Cesaro, but Cesaro tripped him and hit the giant swing. Cesaro followed it up with the sharpshooter on Cena then switched it to the crossface. Cena broke the grip and then locked in the STF. Cesaro powered out and hit a suplex. Cesaro hit the Neutralizer for a near fall…. Cesaro hit a powerslam then locked in the crossface, but Cena got the bottom rope to break the hold. Cesaro hit a suplex for another suplex off the middle rope for 2.

Cena floats over and hit a powerbomb on Cesaro for 2. Cena with a series of right hands, he put Cesaro on the top rope. Cesaro battled back and went for the neutralizer, but blocked. Cena went for an AA and hit it for the win.

Winner and still champ: Cena

Post-match, Kevin Owens tried to run in and attack Cena, but Cena fought him off and hit an AA. Cena stood tall in the ring while Owens walked to the back.
