Welcome to the WWE Raw pre-show and we are live on the WWE Network. Scott Stanford, Corey Graves and David Otunga. They hype what we will see tonight, which is The Undertaker possibly opening up tonight’s show. Highlights of The Undertaker’s return at last night’s WWE Battleground show.

 


 

Scott Stanford mentioned that Paul Heyman cancels his appearance on tonight’s Pre-show. They speculate why Taker’s back on tonight’s show.

Highlights of John Cena – Kevin Owens matchup from Battleground are shown.

Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper is booked for tonight’s show.

The usual promo code for Shop WWE is shown. There is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw.

Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw, there is a recap video of last night’s WWE Battleground PPV. The Undertaker walks down to the ring to open the show.  Taker said that he stands here tonight a relentless, merciless, cold bloodless, grim reaper. Streaks are made to be broken, that is the painful truth.

However, Lesnar, you had to remind every one of his greatest accomplishment. Now, he says enough. Lesnar has taken that pain of the streak into a flame of his resurrection. You can’t kill what won’t die said Taker. Now, he will challenge Lesnar’s morality. “In the end, just like all living things, be it man or beast, you will rest in piece. “

Undertaker leaves the ring and walks up the ramp as the Authority watches on from the back. They said that Lesnar – Taker is huge for SummerSlam. Triple H said that he will tell Lesnar and Heyman not to show up tonight. It’s official, Lesnar vs. Undertaker at SummerSlam.

A six-man tag team is our main event. Randy Orton, John Cena and Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens, Sheamus and Rusev.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Brie Bella vs. Charlotte

Charlotte and Brie start trading arm drags. Charlotte with a shoulder block, Brie rolled out of the ring to regroup….

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Brie Bella landing a series of kicks to the chest of Charlotte. Brie with a headlock on Charlotte, but Charlotte fought out and rolled her up for 2. Brie with a drop kick for 2. Brie with a missile dropkick on Charlotte for 2. Brie went for a leg submission, but Charlotte caught it and landed a series of chops. Charlotte with a neck breaker, then a big boot for 2. Charlotte went for the figure eight, but Nikki got on the apron, but was kicked off. Charlotte with a spear to Brie. Charlotte went and locked in the figure eight submission forcing Brie to tap.

Winner: Charlotte

Triple H is on the phone with Paul Heyman trying to talk him out of having his client show up on tonight’s RAW. The Miz tries to interrupt to complain about Big Show knocking him out at Battleground. HHH booked him against The Big Show tonight.

Tag Team Match: Prime Time Players vs. Los Matadores

Fernando and Darren Young start things off. Fernando with a shoulder block. but ran into a right hand. Fernando tripped him and tagged in Diego, who hit a springboard front senton for 2. Fernando tagged back in and hit a knee lift. Los Matadores put the heat on DY until he gets a hot tag to Titus. This leads to Titus hitting a back breaker. The New Day walks down to the ring as they cut a promo about positivity. Diego hit his finisher on Titus for the win.

Winners: Matadores.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match:  Big Show vs. The Miz

Big Show tossed Miz around early until he hit a power slam followed by a side splash off the top rope for the win.

Winner: Big Show.

Big Show cuts a promo following the match about how nothing is missing on his part. He is right here, just like back in the Attitude. He said that the only thing that is missing is Ryback and his IC title. He challenged Ryback to show up on Tough Enough tomorrow night as he will be appearing on the show.

We see The Authority confronting Paul Heyman in the back. Heyman said that he is not here tonight, but he just wanted to tell them this and leave. He walked away quickly.

-Commercial Break-

We see The Authority talking to the entire WWE locker room about how they need to help them keep Brock Lesnar out of the arena. He said that there is strength in numbers and they are telling the talents to do this, not telling them.

Paul Heyman is in the ring and begins to cut a promo about how Brock Lesnar should be WWE Champion right now. He would explain that his client is not the champion because of The Undertaker. Last night of Battleground there was history. Why? It marked the first time since Taker and Lesnar was in the same ring since Lesnar conquered the streak at WrestleMania 30. He listed the names of talents that tried to break the streak.

Only one man could do such a thing and that was Brock Lesnar. Heyman said that Undertaker is larger than death, so Taker wanted to get his revenge on Lesnar and take something away from Lesnar what is so important to him. He repeats that his client Brock Lesnar beat the streak at WrestleMania. Undertaker can sell his soul to the devil to come back, but his ass belongs to Brock Lesnar! The lights go out and then back on. The Undertaker appears in the ring as Paul Heyman begs for his life.

Brock Lesnar ran down to the ring as the commentators got out of there.

Security ran down to break the two up. Triple H called for the locker room of talents to run down to the ring.

Brock Lesnar to Taker: “I will kill you.” Undertaker’s response, “you don’t have too.” They continued a massive brawl until Lesnar was dragged to the back.

-Commercial Break-

We see the brawl ensues in the back between Taker and Lesnar. Fake police officers got in involved.

They put zip ties on Lesnar and we cut to break.

-Commercial Break-

Seth Rollins walked up to the Authority backstage and said that he has a lot to get off his chest tonight.

We are shown still shots of Luke Harper reuniting with Bray Wyatt at Battleground. This leads to Bray Wyatt with Harper cutting a promo backstage about how he’s never alone and that he always has his family with him. Harper said that this is just the beginning and that it will never stop until there’s nothing left.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Luke Harper with Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns with Dean Ambrose.

Reigns and Harper start brawling to begin the match. Harper with an uppercut, he went for a suplex, but reversed and Reigns hit one of his own to send us to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Harper having Reigns in a headlock. Harper let go and sent Reigns to the floor hard. Reigns made back into the ring before the count of ten, but Harper sent the left arm of Reigns into the steel ring post. Harper with a front senton to Reigns. Harper with another headlock, but Reigns fought out again. They exchange right hands, Harper missed a big boot and fell to the floor. Back in the ring, Reigns kicked Harper in the gut. Reigns with a big time right hand. Reigns off the ropes and hit a clothesline. Reigns with the Samoan drop. Reigns went for a dropkick, but Bray Wyatt stood in his way. Reigns with an uppercut to Wyatt then hit a drop kick to Harper. Wyatt pulled Reigns out of the ring causing the DQ.

Winner: Reigns by DQ.

Post-match, a brawl broke out between the four men.

 

Ambrose and Reigns fought back to clear the ring. Ambrose and Reigns stood tall in the ring to close the show.

-Commercial Break-

Highlights of Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar at last night’s Battleground PPV are shown.

Seth Rollins walked down to the ring. Rollins cut a promo about how everyone thought that he would not be walking out of Battleground as WWE Champion and they were all wrong. He said that he has faced every challenge that has come to him and he has finished them all. He is the be all, end all in this industry. He said he feels robbed from beating Brock Lesnar last night, but please Lilian Garcia get in the ring. He wants her to introduce him as the winner of his match with Brock Lesnar at last night’s WWE Battleground PPV.

John Cena walked down to the ring as the fans booed him. Rollins said congrats to Cena for his big last night over Kevin Owens. Cena thanked Rollins for being such a poor excuse as a champion as he defends his title every Monday night.

He said that due to that, everyday people respect the U.S title event more and the WWE title even less. Rollins fired back by saying that anyone who wants a title shot at his title has to earn it. He is the WWE Champions, so Cena needs to respect that. Rollins began to walk away, but Cena told him to go ahead and walk away like he does every week because the champ is right here. Cena said that the title doesn’t make the title, but the man takes the title. Cena asked if he was ready to man up partner? The two got ready to battle until Rollins backs off and rolls out of the ring. Cena ended the segment by saying that the champ is here!

-Commercial Break-

Tag Team Match: Paige and Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks and Naomi with Team Bella on commentary

Lynch and Banks started things off, Lynch with a series of arm drags on Banks. This leads to Naomi getting the tag and she is arm dragged. Lynch followed it up with several leg drops. Lynch with a headlock on Naomi, she tagged in PAige, who hit a headbutt on Naomi. Paige with a running knee to the face of Naomi for 2. Naomi tossed Paige into her corner and tagged in Banks, who put the boots to her. Banks off the ropes, but was caught by Paige, who hit a fallaway slam. Lynch tagged in and hit a superkick to Banks. Naomi distracted Lynch and Banks attacked her from behind.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Banks and Naomi in control of Lynch. They double team Lynch until she fights back and get the hot tag to Paige, who cleaned house on Naomi. Paige with a series of clotheslines to Naomi. Paige with a series of knees to the face of Naomi in the corner. Paige with a superkick then went for the PTO,  Sasha Banks broke up the submission. Paige dumped her to the floor, Naomi tripped Paige and then tagged in Banks, who hit the Bank Statement for the win.

Winner: Banks and Naomi.

-Commercial Break-

Lana cut a backstage promo about how Dolph Ziggler will return once he’s medically clear and that he’s not seriously hurt. Summer Rae appears with Rusev next to Lana. Rae is wearing a similar outfit to Lana. They make out, then Rae slapped Lana and left.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Randy Orton, John Cena and Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens, Sheamus and Rusev

Cena and Rusev started things off, they lock up, but Rusev kicked him in the gut. He tagged in Owens, who put the boots to Cena. Owens went for the powerbomb, but blocked and Cena locked in the STF. Owens rolled out and hit a DDT to Cena. Owens missed the cannonball in the corner. Cesaro and Sheamus now tagged in, Cesaro hit a crossbody on Sheamus then an uppercut in the corner. Cesaro was super kicked by Rusev to break up the submission attempt…

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with Sheamus in control of Cesaro. Sheamus hit a suplex and tagged in Rusev, who beat down Cesaro in the corner. Cesaro caught a kick by Rusev and hit a major powerslam. Owens tagged in, he grabbed Cesaro then hit a codebreaker. Sheamus and Kevin Owens started getting in an argument. Sheamus grabbed his MITB briefcase and walked to the back. Owens has no one to tag, but still hits a back splash to Rusev. Owens and Rusev got into an argument. Owens hit a superkick to Rusev then walked away.

Cesaro got the hot tag to Randy Orton. Orton hit a powerslam to Rusev, then a fallaway slam sending Rusev to the apron. Orton with the DDT to Rusev as the fans are fully behind him. Orton went for the RKO, but blocked and Rusev super kicked Orton. Lana walked down to the ring, she went straight for Summer Rae and those two started brawling.

Lana walked away and to the back. Cena hit the AA to Rusev, Cesaro hit the giant swing to Rusev and Orton hit the RKO to him.

Winners: Orton, Cena and Cesaro.

The faces stood tall in the ring to close the show.
