WWE to release ‘Essential’ Kurt Angle DVD set

According to a report from Wrestling DVD Network, the WWE will be releasing a three-disk DVD set based on WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle. In an interesting twist, however, Amazon lists the DVD’s studio as Warner Brothers and not WWE Studios. Here’s what Wrestling DVD Network had to say about the release:

The DVD set is titled “Kurt Angle: The Essential Collection” and will be a compilation of matches that includes a new interview with Angle. It is currently planned to be a DVD only exclusive with no plans quite yet for a Blu-ray release. The DVD will be released on August 1st and you can pre-order it on Amazon at this link.

Here is the full synopsis:

“It’s true! It’s true! Kurt Angle has had some of the most epic matchups in WWE history. Now for the first time ever, you can watch them all with Kurt Angle: The Essential Collection.

“Relive all of his rivalries with Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, Edge, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and more in this complete collection.”
