– WWE has released NXT star Memo Montenegro, brother of World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. His profile was removed from the NXT roster page earlier today and Raj Giri of WrestlingINC.com has confirmed his departure.
In a bizarre coincidence, WWE released Dolph Ziggler’s brother, Briley Pierce, while Ziggler was World Heavyweight Champion in May.
Memo was signed by WWE back in 2012.
