- According to PWInsider, WWE released three developmental talents earlier this morning.

Jake Carter, who is the son of former WWE Superstar Vader, was one of the talents released. Carter was signed back in 2011 and last appeared on NXT in January.

Luther Ward, who was just signed last month, worked overseas under the name OMEN, has also been released.

Malik Omari, who was signed earlier this year, was also cut.

    Jake Carter is a son of a legend, they could of made it work
    Luther Ward had a creepiness look that could of worked, but I guess one Sheamus is enough for the WWE, great work lads… these guys could of had real potential, but I guess the WWE only judges by stereotypes, okay….
    Vince: what is this Luther Ward guy?
    writer: Irish.
    Vince: what the hell do we need Irish? We have Sheamus.
    writer: okay, future endeavored

    Vince: what about this Jake Carter? Never heard of him
    writer: he is Vader’s son
    Vince. Luke Skywalker?
    writer: nope, the son of the fat guy with the mask wrestler
    Vince: hmmm, nope, future endeavored please. I do not need another Michael McGillicutty.
    writer. who?
    Vince: You’rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre firrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrred!
