WWE releases statement on Hulk Hogan’s return

Former World Champion Hulk Hogan had recently spoken to APNews about not appearing at the Raw 25th-anniversary show and claimed that he would like to have one more match in WWE:

“Brother, if I’m not there, I’ll definitely be there in spirit, One way or the other, Hulk Hogan influenced each and every one of those guys you’re going to see on TV Monday night. I don’t know if they want me back. I think the fans want me back. I think that I’m part of that company from the ground up. I might have that one more match where I really beat the hell out of Vince. I’ve still got one in me.”

Considering this and the fact that Triple H had said in a recent interview that he is open to the idea of the Hulkster returning to the company, a lot of fans wondered if it will be happening anytime soon.

However, after this news picked up, the company released a short statement to The Associate Press on the matter and said that they are still committed to their decision:

“At this time, WWE remains committed to its decision”

WWE released Hulk Hogan from his contract back in July 2015 after the racial remark controversy, stating that they are “committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds”,
