WWE Removes The New Day’s Parody Video From SummerSlam, John Cena Grants His 500th Wish

– WWE has removed New Day’s parody video of “Empire State of Mind” music video from both their YouTube page and the WWE Network.

– WWE brought Mani Mohtadi and Jason Cosmides, the fans who recorded the infamous “Curtain Call” video with The Kliq at a WWE Madison Square Garden live event several years ago, to this past Monday’s RAW TV taping. Triple H tweeted the following about them being there:

– WWE star John Cena granted his 500th wish this week when he met 8-year-old Rocco Lanzer at Monday’s RAW TV taping. The boys mother, Maria, commented about the experience:

“He [Rocco] got to meet a lot of the wrestlers. He got autographs and took pictures,” Maria said. “He got to walk down the entrance ramp with John Cena as his music was playing. After the show, John met with us outside of our limo and told Rocco to keep up the good spirits and to write to him. He shook his hand and gave him a hug.”
