According to a report from Inquisitr, WWE has contacted none other than the former World Champion and former WCW Star Goldberg for an appearance at the upcoming Raw 25th-anniversary show.
While these reports are yet to be confirmed by a reputed source, it’s worth mentioning here that WWE has been in good terms with the former Universal Champion lately.
Goldberg returned to WWE last year and he went on to beat Brock Lesnar in a shocking manner. Not only that, but he was in the main event of this year’s WrestleMania which shows that the officials trust him enough.
Since it has been reported before that WWE is considering the 25 Anniversary episode an ‘all hands on the deck’ show, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if the company has actually contacted the former Champion for an appearance.
As noted before, WWE has already announced that The Undertaker along with several other Legends will be returning to WWE TV for the upcoming event on January 22nd.
