WWE reportedly interested in signing indie star

In the past couple of years WWE has signed over two dozen of the best professional wrestlers from the independent circuit but it doesn’t appear that the company is in the mood of stopping this anytime soon.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Fred Yehi is the next major indie name which the company is looking to sign and he is likely to seal a deal with WWE in upcoming times.

While Yehi hasn’t had any significant runs with known companies like ROH or NJPW yet, he has been a major part of WWN shows and he has been working in FIP, EVOLVE and Style battle.

According to the report, Officials want to sign him to a development contract so if he does sign with WWE, he will likely spend a while on Performance Center before making his in-ring debut.
