WWE reveals Mae Young Classic commentary team, premiere date, and MYC Bracketology Special

With the official roster revealed for the Mae Young Classic, the WWE revealed when we’ll be able to watch this year’s tournament on the WWE Network.

On their website, the WWE stated that the Mae Young Classic will air on Wednesday, September 5 at 9 ET right after NXT. More matches will air each Wednesday until only two competitors remain, and those final two will go head-to-head at WWE Evolution.

This year’s commentary team will be Michael Cole, Beth Phoenix, and Renee Young. It was reported earlier this month that Mauro Ranallo would be a part of the MYC commentary team, but that appeared to be false. However, Ranallo will work as the co-host of the MYC 2018 Bracketology Special, along with Phoenix, which will air on August 29 at 9 ET.

Young and Phoenix reacted to the announcement on Twitter earlier today.

If you want to check out this year’s talent, the WWE will stream the MYC Parade of Champions tonight, August 8 at 7 ET on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook Live.
