Prior to this week’s Raw, there were speculations that WWE may be holding three Money In The Bank matches this year with male competitors from each brand getting their own ladder match for the briefcase.
However, during the show, it was revealed that there will only be 2 MITB matches at the show. There will be separate matches for male and female competitors with participants from both shows taking part in these bouts.
After this, the company held 3 different qualifying matches during the show and the first one saw Braun Strowman beating Kevin Owens for a spot at the ladder match.
The second match was for the Women’s Money In The Bank and it saw former NXT Women’s Champion, Ember Moon qualifying for the bout.
The final qualifying match of the night saw Finn Balor defeating Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn after Jinder Mahal distracted Reigns, seemingly starting a feud with the Big Dog.
