WWE Saturday Morning Slam Report – October 13th, 2012

This week’s main event will feature Sin Cara versus Jinder Mahal.

 


 

That will not be the only match this week because we go to the ring with your announcers Santino Marella and Josh Mathews.

Match Number One: Justin Gabriel versus The Miz

They lock up and Miz with a hip toss and he tries to get the crowd to appreciate what he did. They lock up again and Miz with an arm drag and he bounces around. They lock up one more time and Miz with a slam and he continues to try to get the crowd behind him.

Miz with a side head lock but Gabriel with a hip toss and arm drag followed by a slam for a near fall. Gabriel with a wrist lock but Miz reverses with a hammer lock. Gabriel with an arm drag to escape. Gabriel with a rollup for a near fall. Gabriel returns to the arm but Miz with an Irish whip and Gabriel goes down due to the impact into the turnbuckle. Miz with another hard Irish whip.

Miz with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Miz with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Miz misses a boot to the head and Gabriel with a rollup for a near fall. Miz misses a charge into the corner. Gabriel gets sent to the apron and then he slides in under Miz. Gabriel with a flying shoulder tackle and he goes for a quebrada but Miz moves. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the three count.

Winner: The Miz

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to talk about entrance music because it is vital to conveying the attitude of the WWE Superstars. We will go inside the studio where the music is made.

The Third Degree takes a look at who had the best entrance music.

Kofi goes with the Ultimate Warrior and Daniel Bryan agrees.

Beth Phoenix goes with Kane because of the way the music goes through your spine.

Layla goes with LayCool’s music.

Kaitlyn goes with Brodus Clay.

Dolph Ziggler mentions Steve Austin with the broken glass.

John Cena goes with his own music because it means that he gets to entertain the fans.

Now we go inside Jim Johnston’s studio.

His favorites are Steve Austin, the Rock, Big Show, Degeneration X, and Triple H.

He demonstrates the guitar riff for Steve Austin and then Big Show. Then he plays some DX.

He says not to predecide what you want to do if you want to go into music and he tells people to follow whatever opportunities come your way.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for our main event.

Match Number Two: Sin Cara versus Jinder Mahal

The lights change to Sin Cara Mood and then Cara with handsprings that force Jinder to the floor. Mahal returns to the ring and they lock up and Mahal with a hip toss. They lock up again and Mahal with a slam and Mahal taunts Cara. They lock up again and Mahal tries for a slam but Cara escapes and he drop kicks Mahal and then hits a drop toe hold and gets a near fall with a rollup.

They lock up again and Cara with a wrist lock and then he goes to the ropes for a double jump arm drag and it sends Mahal to the floor. We go to commercial.

We are back and Mahal is in control of the match. Mahal with a hard Irish whip and he gets a near fall. Mahal works on the back to set up for the camel clutch and he tries for a bow and arrow but Cara counters with a lateral press.

Mahal gets another near fall. Mahal with another hard Irish whip followed by a side slam for a near fall. Mahal with a bear hug and he turns it into a spinebuster when Cara tries to escape. Mahal with a back breaker but Cara with an arm drag. Cara with a handspring back elbow followed by a head scissors.

Mahal with a kick to Cara but Cara sends Mahal over the top rope. Cara hits a corkscrew pescado onto Mahal. Cara with a slingshot corkscrew splash for a near fall. Mahal with a kick and then he hits a power bomb and gets a near fall. Mahal goes for another power bomb but Cara counters with an X Factor and then he goes up top for a swanton and gets the three count.

Winner: Sin Cara
