Overall the worst WWE live event I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot). Other than Matt Hardy & CM Punk, the Superstars phoned this one in — A lot of botched spots and just plain bad wrestling. I get that it was the day after Christmas, but most fans left feeling like they’d been grinched by WWE.

The Fink was the guest announcer. That was a nice surprise.

Hurricane Helms d. someone know one knew
We were stuck in parking lot hell, so we missed this one, but no one could tell me who the Hurricane wrestled.

Rosa Mendes picked kids from the crowd to win stuff.

Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith d. Jimmy Wang Yang & Slam Master J
The crowd was more interested in Natalya outside the ring.

R-Truth d. Dolph Ziggler
The crowd got into What’s Up, but when the wrestling started, interest dropped.

Mickie James, Maria, & Savannah (yes, she tried to wrestle) d. Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, & Layla in a Santa’s Little Helper match
By now, most people were going for the snow cones being sold by vendors in the crowd.

Kane d. Mike Knox
Kane got the first pop of the night at 1 hour and 3 minutes into the show. Mike Knox got 0 heat.

Matt Hardy d. CM Punk
The best match of the night and the crowd tried to get interested. CM Punk came in and did his straight edge banter. He then proceeded to do it again with a mock southern drawl. Matt Hardy came out to a huge pop. Afterwards, Luke Gallows & Punk shared a mid-ring bromance.

Christian d. Ezekiel Jackson
Afterward Zeke gave Christian a beat down, but Vladimir Kozlov ran out to help Christian. This one needed William Regal badly to make anyone care. Too bad he was on vacation.

Drew McIntyre d. John Morrison
McIntyre drew 0 heat but Morrison got a pop

Undertaker d. Batista
The crowd went crazy for the first and only time of the night, but this match was truly bad. Both men moved in slow motion. Batista looked to be three feet off the mat for the tombstone, but by the time it happened, the majority of the crowd had already got up to head for the door.
