New WWE Show Before RAW?, Snitsky-WWE Update, Yokozuna Tribute, More

– Devin sent the following: WWE returns to the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on August 27th, 2011 at 7:30 PM. Tickets go on sale July 23rd, 2011 at 10 AM.

 


 

– The pre-sale began this morning for WWE RAW’s return to Little Rock, Arkansas on August 28th at the Verizon Arena. The password is WWECENA. Matches advertised include John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio in a Street Fight, Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz, Big Show vs. R-Truth and Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger.

– The WXW promotion, run by Samu and the Anoa’i family, will be putting on a Yokozuna memorial show this October in the Philadelphia area, venue to be determined. The last Yokozuna memorial show was in 2001, a year after the former WWE Champion died. More details will be released soon.

– The Wrestling Observer reports that there has been talk of adding a new WWE TV show before RAW on the USA Network. The new show would be something like a countdown show similar to what the NFL does before games.

– As noted before, Snitsky was backstage at last Tuesday’s WWE tapings in Hershey, PA. There were rumors of him making a return to the company soon.
