WWE signs Toni Storm

Toni Storm impressed a lot of people during last year’s Mae Young Classic. The 22-year-old made it all the way to the semi-finals, besting Ayesha Raymond, Lacey Evans, and Piper Niven before falling to the eventual winner Kari Sane.

The New Zealander caught the eyes of the WWE Universe and were shocked when Storm wasn’t signed after her showing last year. However, it seems that the WWE and Storm have come to terms on a contract, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

According to the Observer, Storm’s deal is a WWE UK contract. It’s unknown if she’ll be appearing at this year’s Mae Young Classic or if she’ll find her way to NXT in the near future, but at the moment, she is currently advertised for the WWE UK Championship Tournament on June 18 and 19.
