Here are the results from today’s (Tuesday December 13, 2016) episode of WWE SmackDown Live (courtesy of PWInsider ):
We start off with Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon watching the main event of last week’s Smackdown when James Ellsworth cost Dean Ambrose the Intercontinental Title.
James Ellsworth is sneezing while Shane asks what they need to do about this. Shane says he cannot interfere.
Shane says that James is supposed to have his title match tonight, but how will he be able to compete for the Championship.
Daniel says that James is not fit to compete. He tells James his championship opportunity is on hold until he gets better.
Shane tells Daniel he has some ideas. Shane and Daniel share some hand sanitizer.
We are in Washington, DC and your announcers are Mauro Ranallo, John Layfield, and David Otunga. Your host is Tom Philips.
Miz is in the ring with Maryse for MizTV.
Miz says it is Day 28 of the Miz’ Intercontinental Championship Reunion Tour. He says MizTV is star studded because it has his wife and him. Tonight is special because MizTV brings two of the most powerful champions WWE has to offer. Miz brings out AJ Styles.
Miz tells AJ that James Ellsworth won’t be wrestling tonight and AJ says he has a case of chinfulenza. He says sooner or later, he will destroy James Ellsworth in the middle of the ring.
Miz asks how will he be able to sleep at night knowing that he will have to defend the WWE Title against . . . JAMES ELLSWORTH.
AJ laughs at Miz and tells him that he is hilarious. Miz puts over AJ’s hair and AJ says he is working on a hair conditioner deal.
Miz asks what is next for AJ.
AJ says that Daniel and Shane are trying to figure out what is next. He beat JOHN CENA. He beat Dean Ambrose many times. He will destroy James Ellsworth. Who else is there? He is the face that runs the place. He is the champ that runs the camp. He is the most prestigious champion on Smackdown. Who else is on his level?
Miz says that AJ is a great champion and the longest reigning champion on Smackdown. There is only one person who brought the title from obscurity and took it to new levels. The WWE Championship is prestigous. Miz says he has made the Intercontinental Title legendary. Miz says he beat Dean Ambrose last week.
AJ wants to know what is Miz’ point.
Miz says that AJ said no one is on his level. Miz says he is above it. Miz says maybe it is time he makes the WWE Championship legendary.
Dean Ambrose’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Dolph Ziggler’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Dolph says they talk a lot of game when they cannot win without cheating. If he can’t hide behind Maryse’s skirt, he can hide behind AJ’s.
Miz attacks Dolph and hits a Skull Crushing Finale.
Dean kicks Miz and hits a double underhook DDT.
AJ decides that he does not have to do anything and he starts to walk away.
Dean hits a double underhook DDT on Ziggler.
The lights go out and Luke Harper is in the ring and he hits a discus clothesline on Ambrose.
Harper points at AJ.
We go to commercial.
We are back and AJ Styles says he needs protection. He can handle one person, but not all of them.
Daniel says tonight, Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, Miz, and Dolph Ziggler will be in an elimination match. If anyone interferes on behalf of someone, they will be eliminated. The winner faces AJ on December 27th.
Nikki Bella joins the announcers and takes over Tom’s seat at the table.
Natalya takes the mic and she wants to publicly tell Nikki she did not attack her. Natalya wants to do this before Carmella comes out and spreads lies.
Carmella’s music plays and she comes to the ring for the match.
Match Number One: Natalya versus Carmella
Natalya with a double leg take down and punches. Carmella goes to the floor and Natalya sends her back into the ring. Natalya punches Carmella. Carmella goes to the floor and she slaps Natalya. Carmella with punches and we go to commercial.
We are back and Natalya with a slap and a suplex. Natalya calls Carmella a liar and she slap Carmella again and runs Carmella into the turnbuckles. Natalya with forearms. Carmella with a head scissors out of the corner followed by a clothesline for a near fall. Carmella kicks Natalya in the corner and then she moonwalks and hits a Bronco Buster and gets a near fall. Carmella with a body scissors.
Natalya turns over and connects with forearms while in the body scissors. Carmella with a guillotine. Natalya thinks of tapping out but she holds on and picks up Carmella and hits a Michinoku Driver and then sets for the Sharpshooter but Carmella kicks Natalya away. Carmella goes to the floor and Natalya with a baseball slide.
Natalya goes to Nikki and Natalya hits Carmella with a forearm and she sends Carmella back into the ring. Natalya tells Nikki it wasn’t her. Carmella with an inside cradle for the three count.
Winner: Carmella

We are back with the hard sell for the WWE Network.
It is time to take a look at John Cena on Saturday Night Live.
He will be back on Smackdown in two weeks.
Gabriel Iglesias is walking in the back and he stops to pose in front of Apollo Crews. Gabriel says he is so excited to be here. He mentions that he will be on Tribute to the Troops.
Maryse tells everyone to be quiet so her husband can prepare for his match. She says that his loud noises and loud shirts are distracting Miz.
Gabriel asks which planet did Miz get his suit from . . . Uranus.
Miz says this is a $5,000 suit.
Apollo says that Miz overpaid for his suit and cannot take a joke.
Miz tells Creed he does not have time for him.
Match Number Two: Number One Contender Battle Royal for the Tag Team Titles (featuring Chad Gable, Jason Jordan, Konnor, Viktor, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Zack Ryder, Mojo Rawley, Aiden English, Simon Gotch, Fandango, and Tyler Breeze)
Gotch is clotheslined over the top rope by Rawley and he is eliminated. Rhyno punches Fandango while Rawley deals with English. Gable and Slater kicks Konnor. Ryder works on Viktor. Rhyno and Slater work on Fandango but Fandango fights them off. Rhyno sends Jordan into the turnbuckles and punches him. Rawley kicks Viktor and Jordan is hanging onto the ropes as well as Slater until Rhyno hits Fandango from behind. Konnor and Viktor try to eliminate Rawley while Jordan tries to eliminate Ryder. Rawley makes the save and he keeps Ryder in. Viktor tries to eliminate Slater but Slater rolls under the ropes and back into the ring.
Ryder punches English and tries to eliminate him. Viktor has Slater on the apron and he stays on the apron. Rawley tries to eliminate English and Ryder with a forearm to Breeze. Rhyno punches Fandango and Konnor punches Rhyno. Breeze holds on to the ropes while Ryder tries to eliminate him. Slater gets Viktor over the ropes but Viktor holds on. Breeze kicks Ryder and Viktor gets back into the ring. Viktor hits Gable from behind and Slater with a hesitation drop kick to English. Viktor punches Gable but Gable with an arm bar in the ropes and he eliminates Viktor.
Konnor eliminates Gable. Jordan kicks Konnor and punches him. Rhyno is on the apron and he punches Fandango and Slater. Slater goes for a forearm and he accidentally eliminates Rhyno.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Konnor punches Slater. Breeze kicks Rawley and Fandango eliminates him. Jordan and English are on the apron and Jordan sends English to the floor to eliminate them. Fandango is sent to the apron and he connects with a shoulder to Slater. Slater and Fandango exchange punches. Slater pulls Fandango off the apron and he is eliminated. Breeze punches Slater.
Jordan has a punch blocked and Konnor with punches. Breeze wtih a forearm to Breeze and then Jordan with running shoulders to everyone still in the match. Jordan with an overhead throw to Ryder and then one to Slater. Konnor holds Jordan and Breeze with a drop kick to send Jordan over the top rope to the floor. Breeze kicks Slater and Konnor joins in the attack. They turn their attention to Ryder. Breeze and Konnor attack Slater. Konnor punches Ryder. Slater punches Breeze and then he hits a Harley Race knee to Konnor. Slater with a leg lariat to Ryder and then he hits a neck breaker on Breeze. Konnor sends Slater to the apron and he punches Konnor and kicks Breeze. Slater returns to the ring but Konnor sends Slater over the top rope to eliminate him.
Breeze with an enzuigiri to Ryder followed by a clothesline from Konnor. Breeze kicks Ryder and he directs traffic in the ring. Konnor chokes Ryder. Breeze tells Konnor to finish Ryder but Breeze tries to eliminate Konnor but Breeze is thrown over the top rope but he lands on the apron. Ryder with knees to Konnor and a drop kick to Breeze but he stays on the apron. Konnor with a shoulder tackle to knock Breeze off the apron. Konnor catches Ryder on a Rough Ryder attempt but Ryder with a rana to eliminate Konnor.
Winners: Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder
After the match, Rawley comes to the ring to celebrate their victory.
Alexa Bliss walks in the back as we go to commercial.
We are back with a Baron Corbin video package.
Before Alexa’s opponent can be introduced, Alexa takes the mic. She tells them not to ring the bell. Alexa says everyone is in the holiday spirit and Smackdown is the land of opportunity, but unlike Becky Lynch, she does not do charity cases. Alexa asks her who does she think she is? Jane Ellsworth. Alexa tells her to back up. It is nothing personal, but it is . . .
Alexa punches Deonna and sends her to the floor.
Alexa picks up her title belt and mic. She says . . .
Becky Lynch comes out and she has a mic.
Becky says she was terribly rude last week and she wants to apologize. She knows she caught Alexa off guard asking for her rematch. Tonight, Alexa is in her ring gear and so is she. If Alexa is looking for some real competition, why not have that rematch right now.
Alexa thinks about it and she tells everyone to shut up because the champ has something to say.
Two weeks in a row, you interrupt her. You have your match, but not tonight. Alexa says it will be on her terms.
Shane McMahon’s music plays and he does the Shane-O Shuffle on the stage. He says he does not know what is going through Alexa’s mind because that is not how they roll. Shane tells Alexa she has a title match against Becky Lynch and that match is next.
Shane shuffles in front of the women’s champion.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Alexa Bliss versus Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women’s Title
Alexa retreats into the ropes. They lock up and Becky with an arm drag and she goes for DisArmHer and Alexa gets to the ropes. Becky with a waist lock take down or two. Becky with a front face lock and she gets a near fall. Alexa with a double leg take down and Becky counters into a side head lock. Becky with a hammer lock and Alexa wtih an elbow. Becky goes for an arm drag and Alexa blocks it. Becky with two arm drags and she misses a forearm in the corner. Becky with a springboard kick in the corner. Alexa with an Irish whip and Becky tries to float over but Alexa with a kick to the midsection and she gets a near fall.
Alexa stands on Becky’s hair and the referee warns her. Alexa misses a double knee drop and Becky with a rollup for a near fall. Alexa wtih a forearm and Becky with clotheslines and a drop kick. Becky with a running forearm into the corner but Alexa blocks the Exploder. Becky gets Alexa to the mat but Alexa gets to the ropes. Alexa goes to the floor. Becky follows and she punches Alexa and comes off the steps with a forearm.
Alexa gets out of the ring and she holds her knee. The referee starts his count and Becky stays in the ring while Alexa is about to get counted out.
Winner: Becky Lynch (by count out)
After the match, Becky attacks Alexa and brings her into the ring. Alexa kicks Becky and it was all a ruse. Becky send Alexa into the corner and kicks her. Becky takes Alexa to the mat and punches her. Alexa gets to the floor again.

Match Number Four: Dean Ambrose versus Miz (with Maryse) versus Luke Harper versus Dolph Ziggler in a Number One Contender Elimination Match
Harper sends Ambrose to the floor and then he tosses Ziggler around the ring while Miz has no idea what is going on. Harper with a suicide dive onto Ambrose. Miz applauds Harper’s performance and he talks about an alliance. Miz offers his hand and Harper thinks about it but he does not do Alliances and he punches Miz and hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Ziggler with a drop kick to Harper and then Harper is sent over the top rope by Ambrose and Ziggler.
Ambrose with a clothesline to Ziggler and then Ambrose goes to the floor when Miz pulls down the ropes. Miz with a rollup and a DDT for near falls on Ziggler. Miz with a baseball slide to Ambrose and then he does the same to Harper. Miz mocks the Yes Chant and he kicks Ziggler in the chest. Miz with more kicks to the chest. Ziggler avoids the round kick but Miz with two running drop kicks into the corner. Ambrose with a forearm and bulldog to Miz. Ambrose with a suicide dive but Harper pushes Ambrose back to the ring. Ambrose rolls around on the apron and Harper with a boot.
Harper with a back breaker to Ziggler. Harper chops Ziggler and Harper stares down Styles. Harper with an uppercut to Ziggler and he catapults Ziggler into the middle rope and Harper gets a near fall. Harper looks around and then he connects with an uppercut. Harper with a hard Irish whip and then he goes to the floor and he sends Ambrose into the ringside barrier. Harper goes after Miz but he decides to return to the ring and he signals for a Torture Rack and he gets Ziggler up. Ambrose kicks Harper and sets for the double underhook DDT but Ziggler with a super kick to Ambrose and Ambrose bounces in the ropes and hits a clothesline on Ziggler. Miz with near falls on everyone until Ambrose gets Miz with an Inside Cradle.
Miz Eliminated
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ambrose with a Fisherman’s suplex on Ziggler for a near fall while Harper is outside the ring. Ambrose catches Ziggler on a cross body and hits a back breaker for a near fall. Ambrose wtih a Regal Stretch. Ambrose with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Ambrose goes up top and Ziggler jumps to the turnbuckles and then Harper gets Ziggler on his shoulders. Ziggler with a Zig Zag but Ambrose wtih an elbow to the chest for a near fall.
Ziggler with a sunset flip for a near fall. Ambrose gets a near fall and then Ziggler gets another one. Both men go for a cross body and Ziggler and Ambrose go down. Harper with a boot to Ambrose but Ziggler with a super kick. Harper with a Bossman Slam for a near fall. Harper wtih a sit out power bomb for a near fall on Ziggler. Harper with an elbow to Ambrose. Ziggler with a super kick to Harper and then Ambrose comes off the turnbuckles with a double underhook DDT for the three count.
Luke Harper Eliminated
Ziggler wtih flying clotheslines followed by a splash in the corner and a neck breaker but Ziggler misses the leaping elbow drop when Ambrose moves. Ambrose catapults Ziggler into the ring post and he falls to the floor. Ambrose rolls Dolph back into the ring and Ambrose goes up top. Ziggler leaps to teh turnbuckles and hits a Super X Factor. Ambrose with an inside cradle for a near fall. Both men with clotheslines and they are down.
Miz appears at ringside and Ziggler goes to the floor and he wants a piece of Miz. Ambrose with a suicide dive to Miz. Ziggler with a super kick to Miz. Ambrose sends Ziggler into the ring post. Ambrose sends Ziggler into the ring but Miz grabs Ambrose’s leg. Ambrose sends Miz into the ringside barrier and Ziggler with a super kick for the three count.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
Rich Swann is in the interview area and he mentions that he will face TJ Perkins tonight. He tells TJP if he is watching him now, TJ knows that he cannot handle this.
