– BJPenn.com reports that NBA legend and rumored WrestleMania celebrity Shaquille O’Neal has agreed to face baseball great Jose Canseco in a MMA fight, after a week of online harassment from Canseco. Shaq has formal training in BJJ, Muay Thai and boxing while Canseco has had one MMA fight.
– Former WWE star Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart was arrested for Contempt of Court yesterday, March 14th in Hillsborough County, Florida. Neidhart was in court today apparently to answer charges of Possession of Controlled Substance and First Degree Theft. He is currently in jail with no bond set.
– As we have noted, Evan Bourne has been discussed for a WWE United States Title feud with Jack Swagger for later this year. While Santino Marella currently holds the title, officials are leaning towards taking it off of him after WrestleMania 28.
