WWE Star on having real-life feud with Chris Jericho

The real life altercation between Sin Cara and Chris Jericho is one of the most talked backstage fight incidents of WWE and many believe it’s also one of the reasons why he has only been used as a jobber by the company in recent times.

However, during a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Cara denied the rumors of having a feud with Y2J and claimed that Jericho had borrowed the mask from him, which he used during a Raw segment:

“Me and Jericho are good friends. He actually asked me if he could borrow one of my masks for that segment, and I said that it would be an honor. There is no heat between him and I. Nowadays, with social media, there are always a lot of rumors, but we are fine. That’s why I let him borrow my mask. If that wasn’t the case, I would have said no.”

For those who don’t, Chris Jericho reportedly had a backstage fight with Sin Cara last year. They were traveling on a bus from Leeds, England to Glasgow, Scotland and Sin Cara was said to be making loud noises, despite being told not to.

After a while, Chris confronted the Masked Star. The two then exchanged some blows and the whole incident resulted in Sin Cara being kicked out of the Tour Bus
