Update:
We don’t have this confirmed yet, but it’s not thought Del Rio and McIntyre were fighting each other. Several stories have surfaced online that Del Rio was attacked by 3 men after allegedly show boating, and McIntyre intervened to help out his fellow WWE star. As soon as we have more and this is confirmed, the story will be updated.

– Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE superstars Alberto Del Rio and Drew McIntyre were involved in a legit brawl yesterday, prior to SummerSlam.
There aren’t too many details available at the moment, however there is talk that others may have been involved.
Both Del Rio and McIntyre were beaten up when they returned to their hotel and for those of you that saw, Del Rio was sporting a bruised face and black eye during the pay-per-view.
