WWE Stock Hits a New High, Online Fan Reaction to CM Punk Last Night, RAW Rating Down

– There was no dark match before last night’s WWE TV tapings and the live Main Event in Detroit.

– Monday’s WWE RAW scored a 3.26 cable rating, down from last week’s 3.31 rating. As noted, this week’s show averaged 4.576 million viewers, down just a bit from last week’s 4.661 million viewers.

– WWE stock jumped 13% on Tuesday and closed at $26.24 per share. It peaked at a new 52-week high and 15-year high earlier in the day at $26.49 per share. WWE stock closed at $23.20 on Monday.

– Despite the crowd reaction in Chicago for Monday night’s RAW, most of the CM Punk related tweets coming into WWE’s social media department during RAW were negative against Punk with most fans being upset that he “walked out.”

It’s easy to lay judgment on Punk when we haven’t heard his side of the story yet. IWC knows jack s*** about his situation.

There was actually 2 dark matches last night at the smackdown tapings.. The one before Main Event was Rusev vs. Kofi with Rusev getting the victory via submission and also a dark match before Smackdown with The Wyatt family vs. Sin Cara, Xavier Woods, and R-truth which saw Bray Wyatt hit Sister Abigail on R-truth for the win.

Trust me, I’m a huge Punk fan, but the guy walked out…how else are you supposed to put it!? Stone Cold did the same thing back when he wasn’t happy with what Vince wanted to do with him. To me, that’s turning your back on the fans and more importantly the team of superstars in the back that should work together to put on a good show. Taking your ball, and running home when you’re not happy only hurts the product. They need to solve their issuse like Vince & Austin did because it’s hurting the show.

That’s a lie. That is COMPLETELY bullshit reporting. How do I know? Because I was following it the whole show. It’s another ploy by these dumbass reporters / the WWE trying to turn the tide against Punk.
