The upper deck was curtained off; lower bowl about 75 percent full.

1. Goldust, Tommy Dreamer, and Hurricane defeated Vance Archer, Zack Ryder, and Ezekiel Jackson in a six-man tag. Goldust used the Curtain Call on Ryder for the pin. The crowd popped when Hurricane went over top rope and hit Zeke with a crossbody.

Sheamus (tons of heat) issued an open challenge that was accepted by Evan Bourne.

2. Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne. Evan kicked out of Sheamus’s old finisher at two. Evan scored near fall after knee drop pin from top. He took the big boot. Sheamus used his new finisher and pinned Bourne.

Jillian Hall came to ring as guest ring announcer for the Divas match.

3. Mickie James defeated Beth Phoenix. Big pop for Mickie. Jillian tried to sing White Xmas and was stopped. Beth attacked Mickie as the match began. Mickie won with a DDT. The crowd was asleep for most of match. To be honest, nothing much to write home about.

4. Chavo Guerrero defeated Alex Riley. Chavo received a minimal reaction. They started by posing face to face. No heat for Chavo, no cheers for Riley to begin. Chavo won with a Frog Splash. Biggest cheer of the match was when the 10 year-old behind me said, “This is not what we want to see!”

5. Matt Hardy and Kane defeated Legacy in a Smackdown vs. Raw tag match. Legacy got heat. Hardy received a big pop. Kane got a bigger pop. Big heel act to begin by Legacy, especially Cody. Big pop when Matt tagged Kane. Boos rained down when Cody ran out of the ring from Kane. Hardy got a hot tag to Kane, who cleaned house. He went to the top rope and HIT a diving clothesline. Legacy with double DDT on Kane. Kane came back with a chokeslam on Cody for the win. The crowd popped for the chokeslam!

6. Kofi Kingston defeated Jack Swagger. The crowd loved Kofi. He went for the Boom Boom drop and Jack rolled to the outside. Kofi with a flying crossbody to the outside. Jack dropped Kofi on the guardrail and rolled him into ring. Swagger got a near-fall after a running powerslam. There was a blown spot for Kofi’s flipping pin. He hit the Boom Boom drop but Swagger grabbed the rope to end the pin attempt at two. Kofi countered the Gutwrench power bomb into Trouble in Paradise for the pinfall win.

-Intermission-

7. Drew McIntyre defeated Jimmy Wang Yang. McIntyre, who received no reaction whatsoever, cut a heel promo on the mic. He spent 5-10 minutes working the crowd. A USA chant broke out. McIntyre went to work. Wang got in offense here and there, but McIntyre dominated and won with a modified DDT.

8. Christian defeated William Regal to retain the ECW Championship. The crowd loved to hate Regal, and Christian got a good pop. Regal is amazing at playing to the crowd. I see why they’ve kept him around! Simply amazing. Christian retained with an awful looking Killswitch Engaged. Interestingly, Regal came up with a streak of blood on his face.

9. Triple H beat Randy Orton in a No DQ, falls count anywhere match. Randy pulled a trash can from underneath the ring and decked HHH for the two count. Legacy ran in to beat down HHH. Kofi ran in for the save. Hunter pulled out a sledgehammer and nailed Orton with it. He followed up with a Pedigree for the win.

Biggest Pops: HHH, Kofi, Kane, and Goldust

Most heat: Regal, Sheamus, Legacy
