WWE Talents Interested In Working for Another Promotion, More on SummerSlam Change

– There were rumors online that WWE is moving SummerSlam to the New York & New Jersey area in 2015 due to them wanting more space than the Staples Center in Los Angeles can offer. This not true as the Barclays Center in Brooklyn has about the same capacity as the Staples Center and the IZOD Center in East Rutherford holds less than 1,000 more.

– With so much uncertainty in the pro wrestling business right now, it was said by this week that everyone not in WWE right now wants to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling. They added that some guys in WWE are also interested working for NJPW.

When WCW went under there was an overload of talent during that time. The only place you would make money was WWE or Japan. I was a wrestler and that was the only two viable options if you were good enough.

Err, early 2000s you had just as many promotions. Yeah ECW and WCW were winding down (WCW finished late 2000, ECW early 2001), but ROH and TNA both stepped up straight after, both starting in 2002.
AAA has existed since early 90s as well, and NJPW since the early 70s.

All Japan, and NOAH, need serious influx of talent. But, the wrestling scene is better than early 2000s. You had WWE or Japan. Right now you have TNA, WWE, ROH, AAA, NJPW
