WWE testing out new production crew in anticipation of $15 WWE Network plan

It’s been rumored for quite some time that the WWE is attempting to tweak the current WWE Network. Reportedly, the company is currently working on a tiered system for their streaming service.

According to PWInsider, at tonight’s Supershow in Boston, Massachusetts, the WWE tested out a smaller production crew who are working without the usual production trucks. The WWE will also film the Starrcade event in Cincinnati, Ohio next month with a similar setup.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider stated that the WWE is planning on adding live event tapings to the $15 tier of the Network. The WWE could be launching the new tiered service in 2019 and will continue to film more live events for this purpose.
