WWE Not Unifying Titles, Sika’s Son Gets a Win, Laurinaitis, WWE In AK

– WWE will return to Little Rock, Arkansas on Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 for a SmackDown event. A pre-sale begins this week and the password is LRSDV.

– FCW star Roman Leakee picked up a win at last night’s RAW live event in Little Rock, Arkansas. He defeated Curt Hawkins with a Samoan Drop. Leakee is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika and brother to former WWE star Matt “Rosey” Anoa’i.

– John Laurinaitis is expected to return to WWE TV as a character at SummerSlam or once the pay-per-view is over. Laurinaitis continues to work WWE live events. He appeared at last night’s show in Little Rock, Arkansas and announced that he would be in Big Show’s corner for the steel cage main event against John Cena. Fans were allowed to vote on Laurinaitis being in Show’s corner and they voted no. Johnny ended up entering the cage with a chair and catching an Attitude Adjustment from Cena.

– We noted a few weeks back that WWE officials were talking about unifying the Intercontinental and the United States Titles into one. WWE has reportedly nixed that idea for unknown reasons. For those wondering about the WWE Title and the World Heavyweight Title being unified, sources say there is virtually no chance of that happening.

No chance in hell have you.

If they went back to a normal brand excention then keeping the belts seperate makes sense. But the fact that they have superstars appear on each show over and over there is no point in having seperate brands. I would like the IC title and US unified just so santino loses and is no longer a champion because he is making a mockery and a joke of the us title when he competes in tuxedo matches and acts like a sherklock holmes knock off i mean he is a champ at least have him use a real finsher and act a tiny bit serious.

Personally think they should merge the WHC and WWE Title. There needs to be one top dog on the show. Look what being the WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion means now. They aren’t even in the main event anymore. They aren’t as relevant. Being a champion has become totally diluted.

If they do keep them separate, at least have the WWE champion face the World Heavyweight Champion at the main event of WrestleMania with both belts on the line. It’ll make the ME more special then. Have it so WM is the only time of year when both belts are on the line and have the undisputed champion defend the belts separately afterwards.

Well atleast end Brand Extension. Also Leakee has potential, he could be the Next Face of WWE.

It’s a good thing they are not unifying those belts. With limited opportunities for talents anyway, there would be even less chance for them to shine.

Why would anyone want to unify the world and wwe title??? look what they did with the divas when they “unified” the womens/divas (they just ended up getting rid of the womens!
