Former WWE Wrestler Arrested In Canada, Brian Pillman Profiled By WWE, Sheamus

– Glenn Kulka, a former Canadian Football League player who performed for the WWE in the late 1990s, was arrested this week on charges of assault and criminal harassment in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Now a personal trainer and Ottawa sports personality who mentors youth, he is alleged to have assaulted Henry Nguyen on July 24, who law enforcement say was left feeling so threatened he feared for his personal safety. He was released on bail with conditions that prohibit him from talking to or going within 200 meters of Nguyen.

More details on the arrest and background on Kulka is available here.

– The late Brian Pillman is the latest addition to the official WWE website’s Alumni section. WWE says of the late wrestler, “Brian Pillman passed away in 1997, but he is remembered as one of the most influential Superstars of the 1990s. His high-flying abilities paved the way for future competitors and his development into an impulsive personality was integral in ushering in WWE’s Attitude era.”

– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus appears at the Colonial Honda in Dartmouth, Massachusetts on Tuesday, Oct. 23 beginning at noon for an autograph session.
