WWE Wrestler Arrested and Charged With Driving Under The Influence Again

SmackDown wrestler Jimmy Uso was arrested Wednesday at 12:47 p.m. in Hillsborough County, Florida, and charged with driving under the influence, according to the official website of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. He did not stay in jail for long as he was released on $500 cash bond that day at 3:08 p.m.

Uso, whose real name is Jonathan Solofa Fatu, was previously arrested on September 29, 2011 in Tampa, Florida, on suspicion of driving under the influence. An officer observed Fatu at approximately 3:00 a.m. that day driving the wrong way down a one-way street in a silver Mustang.

Uso’s run-in with the law comes on the heels of Jack Swagger’s arrest in Gulfport, Mississippi, last month on charges of driving under the influence, marijuana possession, and speeding. He faced no repercussions from WWE. The last WWE talent to be arrested in Hillsborough County was Brodus Clay’s dancer Cameron, who was charged with driving under the influence on August 24, 2012.

Apart from the idiocy that comes with risking your job, the legal and safety ramifications make any of these guys doing this total idiots. Anyone who drives under the influence deserves to be prosecuted, and have their licences taken away, regardless of what they do for a living.
The fact that WWE took no action against Swagger when they have taken action in the past, sends out a bad message to other people within the company. And if they take any action this time, its nothing to do with racism, and everything to do with WWE looking after themselves purely because they have Swagger in the main event at WM, which is pathetic.
Simple fact is, when someone is so prominent in the company, they should be the first people WWE make an example of if they want the media to take their wellness policy as serious. Suspending a low rung guy like Jimmy Uso means nothing, if they go that route.

Nah he’ll probably get a push for the US Title now

  • Before I read this I was afraid that it was Jack Swagger again, but then it was Jimmy Uso so it’s not so bad.

  • Only the bleeding hearts will cry “racist” as usual.
Am I the only one who saw the “again” part and assumed it was Swagger? WWE needs to crack down on all these DUIs. Not very PG.

Racism isn’t just for black people lmao

  • Andrew Falkenhan

Even though they’re Samoan and not black?

  • Skip Becker

It will be very interesting to see if they punish Fatu after letting Swagger’s arrest slide. Cries of racism would not be surprising.

He’ll be fired while Cameron and swagger get nothing lol

I thought it was gonna say Jack Swagger
