WWE’s New NXT Airing on Local TV, Internal Thoughts on Ric Flair, Todd Grisham

– The Brighthouse network in Florida has three more Florida Championship Wrestling TV shows to air so the new WWE NXT will begin airing there in HD on July 22nd. The new timeslot will be Sundays at 6pm with replays on Thursdays at 11pm. WWE told Brighthouse that while they decided against airing the new NXT online, they wanted to air it locally because FCW runs most of their shows in the Brighthouse viewing area. While Brighthouse is expecting to air the NXT show in a few weeks, they have not received the first tape yet.

– There are people in WWE hoping for Ric Flair to be named the permanent General Manager on the 1,000th RAW episode later this month but because of the status of TNA’s lawsuit against WWE for alleged contract tampering, it’s a long shot at the moment.

– Former WWE announcer Todd Grisham is in Las Vegas this week for the UFC event and will be interviewing UFC President Dana White for ESPN’s MMA Live.
