WWE’s Original Plans for Brodus Clay, RAW Notes, Paul Orndorff, Mysterio

– WWE’s shop website is currently running a week-long special on all Rey Mysterio items.

 


 

– Wrestling legend Paul Orndorff is currently battling skin cancer but the cancer is wrapped around his carotid artery so doctors can’t perform the surgery needed to remove it. Orndorff is instead going through chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Orndorff has described this as the worst pain he’s ever endured.

– The RAW live event on March 4th in Baton Rouge, LA drew 9,000 fans for $230,000, just 500 fans short of being sold out. The March 5th show in Alexandria drew 6,500 fans for $185,000, just 300 short of a sellout. The live event on March 6th in College Station, TX drew 4,000 fans for $120,000.

– Former WWE writer John Piermarini revealed on his Twitter that Brodus Clay was originally going to be Ted DiBiase’s bodyguard back when he was looking for a new Virgil last year. It looks like Clay will be siding with his NXT mentors Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez now.
