- The way The Miz was booked on Monday’s RAW in a surprise match with Jerry Lawler was to enforce the idea that he is an “undeserving” and “vulnerable” champion. WWE want to play on the idea that he could lose the title at any time.

- Despite Michael Cole’s interference during Lawler’s title match on RAW this past Monday, the commentary team is expected to remain the same next week.

    @CC Good point I agree.

    Why the hell should every champion be booked as unbeatable? Do you really want the same thing every time with a champion?
    Some champs should come across as unbeatable, so weak and spineless cheats, some as lucky and some as never give up underdogs.
    Variety is what keeps things from being stale.
    One of the biggest problems with recent champs is the guys like Cena, Orton, Batista, Big Show etc etc is that the unbeatable champion has been too prevailent, which is why guys like The Miz, Jericho and Edge make such an interesting change, as they win by either sheer guts or sheer luck etc.

    The Miz could be the Mikey Whipwreck of WWE, with nobody believing he will win, yet always seems to come out on top.

    Why is WWE trying to make The Miz look weak? That is stupid. Every champion should be booked as unbeatable. Remember Cena and Batista’s first title reign. I didn’t know who would beat those two. Swagger’s title reign was a joke. Looks like The Miz is going to be a victim of a poor booked champion.

    so book him as a weak champion and as someone that doesn’t deserve the main event good job wwe!

  • David

    They do both, not so much Lawler, buts also why they have Punk.

  • damkat

    Well since they don’t really call matches anyways, it is better than what they are doing now.

  • Devil_Rising

    No it won’t. Remember years ago, when announcers used to talk about MATCHES? What was actually going on in the ring, play by play?

    They already barely do that now. You think it would be good to have Cole and Lawler just talking s**t back and forth all night, not even calling matches? I don’t.

  • damkat

    Might be a little more interesting to hear the interaction of the two if they “hate each other”

    ……Again, Conrad for fail of the year.
