- As seen on Monday’s Raw in Manchester, England, the show concluded with The Shield battling The Wyatt Family in a short-lived brawl before both parties turned their attention to the babyfaces. Despite Monday’s event, don’t expect the nefarious factions to feud quite yet.

During tonight’s episode of SmackDown (which has already aired overseas), a video package airs highlighting the heated conclusion of Raw and the brawl is not shown. According to F4WOnline.com today, people within the organization feel it was a tease that will be touched again early next year. Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer stated in this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that creative had suggested they duel at WrestleMania XXX.

– As reported earlier today, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee collapsed during her match at tonight’s WWE live event in London, England. The official WWE website has published a brief article on the unfortunate event, which at this time solely mentions the company’s official statement to the media on her status: “Tonight in London, WWE Diva AJ Lee briefly fainted during a match with Brie Bella due to dehydration. She is currently being evaluated by WWE medical staff.”

TMZ.com is also covering the story, which adds that Lee walked to the backstage area on her own power.

I think its more wwe “creative” aka Vince changes his mind on things from a day to day basis.

Hold on a second, we have been told by this site in recent times that Reigns will be leaving the Shield for a babyface turn, and now we are being told the Shield vs Wyatts at an event 5 or more months away.
So which “insider” is right? Or are we once again being expected to ignore the previous reports, just like WWE likes us to forget things like Bray Wyatt being Husky Harris and Ryback being Skip Sheffield?

  • Nicholas Giambattista

I can see it starting before or after Wrestlmania.

If the Wyatts and Shield do fued, it won’t be as dramatic as it could be because we’ve already seen them brawl. They should have just had a staredown then immediately gone after Bryan and Punk, physicality wasn’t necessary at that point.
